Product Description
Featuring a tough Zytel frame with a liner style lock for smooth one handed operation, the Tool Logic SL1 professional grade, multi-functional folding knife is highlighted by a 3-inch blunt-tipped, partially serrated safety blade with a seat belt/line cutter made from rugged stainless steel. It's complemented by a brilliant removable LED flashlight that also includes a superhardened window punch on its back. The SL6 also includes a built-in signal whistle and a pocket/belt clip.
The seat belt/line cutter and a razor sharp serrated edge make this a great addition to the glove box in your car for unforeseen emergencies. A sleeve along the top of the handle holds a brilliant LED flashlight that has a window breaking punch on the back. The flashlight is waterproof for shallow immersion and for use in wet environments.
Caring for Your Folding Knife
Keeping your knife clean, dry, oiled and sharp are the primary defenses against corrosion, wear, and potential injury. Be sure to clean the blade and handle after each use--however, do not soak your knife in water. A mild solution of soap and water should remove any dirt and debris that may have accumulated during use (avoid harsh detergents such as laundry or dish soap, and chlorine products). To remove any debris from inside the handle you can use a toothpick for any visible lint or dirt, or a Q-Tip for smaller amounts of dirt and debris.
After cleaning or after exposure to moisture be sure to completely dry your knife blade and handle, taking special care with any sensitive handle materials. Use a soft cotton cloth or chamois and a small amount of moisture-displacing oil (such as WD-40 or 3-in-1), on the blade only, to prevent water spots and oxidation from forming.
Fingerprints and weather are the primary causes of rusting or corrosion on a knife blade. To keep your knife looking its best, Tool Logic recommends that you give your blade a light coat of oil after each cleaning, and prior to long-term storage. Be sure to also apply a Paraffin-based oil to the pivot point, which will not only keep the action of your blade smooth but will repel dirt and debris which could impede the blade's action.

Ideal for survival, rescue or first aid kits.A little friend to be preparedby Olman G. Aguilar Gamboa (5 out of 5 stars)

As a member of a group for jungle survival and mountain explorations, I decided to buy this ``multi-tool-knife`` as a complement for my survival and first aid kits .
This product combines several things that are necessary in emergencies, such as:
"A powerful whistle.
"A flashlight that can light up a room or vehicle, although it seems small it works very well, and brings spare batteries, also it's waterproof.
"A device to break the windows of a car. Or any other glass.
"The folding knife to cut clothing or rope without compromising the integrity of the victim, the knife is very sharp and safe to use.
It is lightweight, has a clip to carry in your pocket, and the size is ideal because it is unobtrusive but functional.
It looks well constructed and durable.
It has a lanyard hole.
Overall a good product for those who want to be prepared.
The price is very reasonable and I recommend it because I think is a good quality product with many advantages.

It is exactly what you are looking at. The flashlight isn't the best. You have to mess with it to get it to come on and stay on but whos really gonna use it anyway. it is a great product for the amount of use you will actually get out of it but nice to have when you do need it. Window punch seems ok, will find out on the next window, if it doesn't work, looks i'm back to the trusty ASP! over all, you get what you pay for. it's functional, not bulky, and operates and looks nice.
Exactly as expected

This thing is worth buying and keeping in the car or bugout bag or whatever else you think you need it for. I'll buy another one for the other car eventually.

We have one of these in an easily reachable location in every vehicle we own, plus my grand daughter's vehicle. I hope we never need it, but if we do, it is there for us.

Battery is light goes bad fast. Poor system for turning light on and off. You have to twist it out to turn it off any the top fell out. Luckily I saw it.
Cool Tool.

Nice tool. Ive had it for awhile now and never had to use it so I cant comment on the capabilities of the window punch or the seatbelt cutter, but the flashlight and whistle works great

Haven't had to use it as yet (luckily) but this is a well designed tool that is compact and robust. I keep it in the pocket of a visor cover so it is readily available in case of an emergency.
