all you peasants on here giving this to your children are really missing the point. This is THE perfect dog house! Why make your children play in this when you can just buy them their own full sized house and give this little mansion to your pooch? I actually bought one for each of my dogs because for I just can't be seen in the neighborhood with my dogs having to share a dog house. It's just not right. Just remember that you need to hire more help when the dogs move in to their new dwelling. A dog house that big needs a staff of AT LEAST 4 to maintain the property.

Perfect for Gated Communities With Strict Covenants

We wanted to move to a safe neighborhood so our severely disabled uncle who lives with us would stop shooting at passersby with his 12-gauge. The problem is that, although we could afford to get a vacant lot, we could not afford to build a suitable house that would fit the guidelines of the "Lakepine Estates" covenant community that we chose for our new abode. Then we discovered the Grand Portico Mansion, and it was just the ticket! Now Uncle Jack can sit on his rocking chair in front of the house without worrying about having his shotgun always at hand. The sleeping arrangements are a bit problematic, and for that I gave it only 3 stars. But the neighbors all seem quite pleased to have our clan living next to them in their lovely, peaceful community.

Great housing substitute in hard times..

We moved into this wonderful pre-fabricated home in early 2013 and still enjoy it to this very day. Sure, we were a bit surprised when a single 18 wheeler pulled up and only had about a quarter of his load filled with our 'house', but we quickly got over our disappointment when the neighbors started flocking to our street corner in droves to tell us how awesome our 'home' was and that they wanted to take pictures with us there. Now you can barely get a nights sleep without fans driving past and honking their horns and pointing at our wonderful home and laughing to themselves (obviously about how they can't afford this treasure). Anyway - my hats off to the designer - you thought of everything!

I'm so stressed out!

This was very affordable...and very beautiful but quite frankly it wasn't big enough for my spoiled rotten children. Let me clarify, one is four years old the other is six. It it was actually big enough for them both but our big fat nanny couldn't fit in it, sadly this turned out to be a HUGE problem! Because the nanny couldn't get in there to serve them Li ttle brats their grass fed organic gluten free meals and so we always feel compelled to have to bring them along whenever dear hubby and I go out on our weekly dates. I will be donating it to charity for a good cause. Sigggghhhhhh I am so stressed, I need a ME day...mani, pedi, a little mediation and top it off with glass of pino immediately.

I bought this for my cousins because they have everything, they told me it was perfect for their decadent lifestyle and told me they would keep the slave children in it . (The food will go in the window boxes.)

Based on the reviews I have decided NOT to purchase this item. I find the previous comments questionable and mildly offensive so will invest in another option, perhaps traditional tree house.

It's a shame how people sneakily infuse their ignorance and racist remarks into anything they can nowadays. It's like some kind of easter egg that makes the reviewer feel better about themselves. I always say, the toughest people sit behind computers and Xbox live.
