I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas and was very excited my girlfriend being quite the wine drinker. Opened it on Christmas morning and much to my surprise it wouldn't except a 1.5 liter bottle of wine despite being advertised as being able to do so here on amazon. What is the point in creating a wine system meant for partys unless you can fit a full size bottle of wine in it. Just know that before you buy this product that the features and details on this page are incorrect. Would definitely not recommend this product to anyone who wants to buy two 750 mil bottles in one night just to satisfy guests. Completely in practical design.

This is a great machine for home use. Chilling a bottle of wine does not take long at all. One should be prepared for the semi-loud noise it makes when it breaks the vacuum seal and when resealing. The noise is tolerable and short lived. Overall I am very pleased with mine. It is also quiet impressive to guests.

There are two aspects to this gadget: (1) dispensing - I rate it 5 stars for ease of use and effectiveness; unlike some other products I have come across, Skybar doesn't burden me with too many irrelevant functions and options; (2) preserving - early days yet because I have only used it on about 10 bottles of red and white, but the preservation effectiveness is not as great as I had expected, but surely adequate for up to 4.5 days for young vintages especially whites but just 3 days for more delicate ones.
Overall the product did not disappoint. I have purchased another 3 units since then.
I am a little nervous about leaving a bottle hanging inside the unit though. I am sure it is perfectly safe but it would be great if the product comes with an adjustable base.

Works well, but it's pretty loud and the power switch is hard to reach. It's nice to be able to extend the life of a bottle of wine, but my wife hates it because it's so loud. Going to take it apart and fit a quieter fan and hopefully the cooling module doesn't overheat.

PROS
The machine does what it claims to. It is a great way to show off sophistication on serving wine. The preset by wine type is easy to use and set. Assembly is easy too, cleaning is fast and what is best, yes the wine stays fresh for days. I have not kept a bottle longer than 8 days because It simply doesn't last longer.
CONS
This unit not small, beware of depth dimension. The lowest temp you can get out of it is 45F. The beautiful light on the interior only turns on when you open the door, which is for switching bottles. IMO it should have a switch as it looks fantastic.

Just a great product. If you open a bottle and don't finish it you'll be able to keep it fresh and available for many days. Easy to use, reasonable, keeps a good temperature, and dispenses either a full glass or a small amount. We love having this item on our bar.

Unit has stopped working after 45 days of use, maybe 5 bottles of wine used. It gets down to about half of the bottle and stops dispensing the wine. I found it did not preserve the wine any longer than a few days anyways, and is much noisier than anticipated. I would not recommend this product.

It works Great. I was somewhat skeptical of the device reading about the "Noise" it produces. I plugged it in and yes there is some fan noise but it does not sound like a plane taxiing for takeoff. The one disappointment was the price. Amazon sells it for $225. I went to the factory site to look up something and saw that SKYBAR sells them on their site for $169 :(
