Nifty Off Road Lift Serviceable but not Perfect.by Richard Snouffer (4 out of 5 stars)

While not perfect, overall this is a good jack that you can carry in your car everyday, and has good on and off road usability.
Low pressure (up to 10 psi) can work off of exhaust pressure to raise your car, but also has back-up inflation method of air compressor inflation via an included valve stem. It is wide, which makes off-pavement jacking a lot less headache inspiring, and has triangular metal spike "feet" on the bottom that can help hold the jack in place against the substrate.
The Good:
1) It really does lift well, and fairly quickly with the exhaust-inflation option.
2) Its wide base makes lifting the car when off pavement much better than any factory jack.
3) Its durable ballistic nylon case's OD green color. It has a large circumference, but very flat. Storage is not a snap--you will know it is there--but because of its flatness, it is not that bad either.
4) It lifts high. This is a great advantage since lifted (off road) cars often cannot make good use of a factory jack.
However:
1) It is a (rather thick) rubberized plastic balloon. It MUST not come into contact with any sharp edges OR hot metal pieces underneath the car, or it WILL fail--possibly in a spectacular fashion.
2) The intake cup does not fit over the exhaust pipe of all cars. Cars with larger pipes (especially flared or beveled ends) will not make a seal. For those you will have to break out the air compressor.
3) Even on exhaust pipes which do fit in the intake cup, you have to hold it pressed into the exhaust pipe hard enough to keep the seal--the seal won't hold itself. Constantly having to press the cup into the exhaust pipe hard enough to maintain the seal throughout the entire pump requires effort, and could be draining on those with poor physical conditioning. For these folks, the alternate compressor valve stem becomes the better option.
4) The exhaust inflation hose could be a bit longer, even 2 or 3 feet would have made using it on the front wheels easier.
5) It is not effortless, as advertised. However, on the plus side, it has an excellent one-way valve that immediately kicks in as soon as the cup comes off the exhaust, without losing any significant amount of air, so one can press and rest in intervals.
6) It is not very horizontally stable, you _MUST_ be on a pretty level surface or the jack will want to let the car "spill" off to the downhill slope side.
7) It can only lift about 4400 lbs, and many off road cars will exceed this. Be careful.
Works very well but has a few drawbacks

Works very well but only if you have a single exhaust. Otherwise you need a compressor. Fortunately, my portable tire compressor does the job. The manufacturer should provide a intake hose with two cones for dual exhausts or at least offer one as an accessory.
This airbag jack is ideal if you have a recent manufacture car with the underside covered with plastic panels for aerodynamics which prevent you from placing jack stands anywhere other than under the jacking points (which can't be used for jack stands if used for the jack). If positioned appropriately, it distributes the load so the plastic panels aren't broken. It's also nice to lift the entire side of the car at once rather than having to jack one corner and the the other and it lifts higher than most floor jacks. It will even raise my F250 4wd.
Another drawback is that this airbag jack is takes up quite a bit of space so you may not want to carry it all the time. I only use it for working on the car.

Love it. Great for Snow where a high lift jack scares the heck out of me. Used it a few times, it works very fast if you have someone lightly rev the engine, or if the engine is in warm up mode. if only on idle it'll take a few min. use it correctly and you'll be very happy and impressed

works great even in off camber situations. I would have rated it 5 stars BUT it BARELY has enough hose for a 4 Door JKU when using at the front

This lifting jack is awesome! This is one of the best packaged items I have ever bought. The carrying case comes with laminated instructions, gloves and EVERYTHING needed to getting your vehicle lifted quickly.
Works great. Used on FJ Cruiser.

great product. Works fast ... just be sure to push on the exhaust seal so you don't leak air. Works great!

Finally ordered this after years of wanting it. Very surprised on how well it works. Much safer then using a hi lift jack for changing a tire off road!
Best Off Road Jack

I had one of these before, then sold my Jeep and the Jack, then started Jones-ing for another Jeep, then bought a Rubicon, then bought another of these Bushranger Jacks. I have used it on several occasions in rough country and as long as you can start your engine and the tail pipe is accessible, you are in business. The jack inflates quickly, holds pressure, lifts the rig safely and without wobbles or having to stabilize the rig. May be used in sand, mud, or other loose stuff or on uneven surfaces. Much easier to use than any high-lift jack, safer, stores easily, and lifts the rig to a safe height. I had a six inch lift and 35's on my TJ, and this jack worked great. It would work on about anything.
Did not lift my car after 15 minutes of waiting

I followed all instructions carefully, put the ball under my car, hooked up exhaust tube and ran engine idle for 10 minutes, ball only inflated a little, revved up engine to 2000 rpm for 5 minutes and the ball just got hard, but did not lift the car. I decided to try with compressor, but it's very hard to reach the valve when the ball is not inflated.
Anyways with compressor it started to lift the car. I bought this as simple way to lift my car, but turns out that it does not work as advertised thru the exhaust tube and I decided to return it.
