I found these plates when I did a search for plastic plates. These were listed as plastic, I even checked the description to make sure they were plastic, however they are in fact paper plates. I only gave them 3 stars for the description discrepancy however they worked just fine for my daughter's party. I wanted something sturdy for people who would be standing and eating and we had no problems. We had hot dogs and potato salad, but I wouldn't use these for anything too wet like chili dogs.

The description says 9 inch plates. I received 7 inch plates. I can use them but I'm disappointed that I received smaller plates for the price I paid.

I was expecting a little heavier plate. I had to use two to hold our luncheon meal, which consisted of chicken salad sandwich, pasta salad, & jello salad. It was a little flimsy with one plate. I will not purchase for a lunch, but would be find for cake and icecream. The color was what I wanted, and the plate it's self was OK but just to thin.
