Did the job perfectly

I've had this glove for several years and have been through two accidents when them. They did their job perfectly and from now on, I'll never ride without the scaphoid protection system to keep my hands sliding. I will admit; it's not as comfortable as other gloves but I don't think much comes with more protection. With this last accident, I was sliding down the race track at about 60 MPH on my back and I instinctively tried to slow myself down by pressing my palms to the ground. Thankfully, it did nothing to slow me down or burn though or cause me to tumble. I just slid peacefully and let my leather suit do the job of slowing me down. I remember that my palms felt very hot as soon as I got up. It was from the heat created by the grinding down of the plastic protection piece. If that wasn't there, I would have probably ground the gloves down and realized only after I got up that the skin on my palms were missing. I can actually still wear the gloves after two wrecks. That says a lot too.
