By Far The Most Superior Dog Life Jacket on The Marketby Rock Star Pet Wear (5 out of 5 stars)
July 25, 2019
I bought 5 life jackets to start. Two of these (EZ Dog),, one in red, one in yellow (XS), 2 paws aboard (the 2 small/smalls) and King (M). So you really need to measure the girth of your dog because the sizing from these different brands are all different and all of these fit my dogs perfectly. . One of my dogs has a 19 in girth, the other a 21. Both weigh 17 lbs. Out of the 3 brands I purchased, this one hands down is by far the best choice. They are durable, great fit, extremely stylish, very sporty looking, and best of all the design gives the dog the most natural swim you could ask for. With this one (EZ Dog), just adjust the straps the first time it cinch it up on the sides with the adjustable straps, and then adjust the neck strap it's ready to go. . I keep mine a little loose around their neck and it's much more natural because they can move their heads. What I liked best was not just the quality and durability, but the fit. It doesn't have that huge thick puffy piece of the life jacket going right under their neck which I'm sure makes them feel uncomfortable and panicky. . My one pup can swim great and just jumps in and swims across the pool when she's hot to cool off. I've noticed since she's had her life jacket, she hangs out in the pool a little longer to socialize instead of just jumping in And swimming across the pool and jumping out to cool off. My other dog is just learning to swim and I have to say she is much more relaxed than before she had her life jacket. These are designed much like a life jacket for humans that you would probably find on a boat. They are superior to the other brands. They have s handle on top, reflective lines going across it, and even a D-Ring to put a leash on. One last thing, my friend bought a super cute paws aboard life jacket, and we've noticed, it moves even though it's fitted right, but he also swims a little side ways now instead of straight. It's harder to swim with a life jacket so keep that in mind. My dogs seem to have zero problems with their new jackets. I would highly recommend these life jackets. I was concerned the XS might be too small per the sizing for the 21 in and also the weight, but they fit and are buoyant-no sinking. These are worth the price. And it will give you peace of mind especially on a lake. Hope this helps.

I purchased this for our 9lbs Schnauzer/Poodle mix paddle pup on a recent trip to Moab. We did two stretches of the CO River on Stand Up Paddle-boards, with a couple Class II stretches. Took a little while to get comfortable, but you could tell it was very sturdy and fit her well. Adjustable straps made it easy to get the right form fit, might want a buff if they are sensitive to the straps underneath (didn't bother our pup). Had one good spill and it keep my pup above water and the strap made her easy to grab and lift back on to the board. I would recommend for sturdiness and performance!
I highly recommend anything from EzyDog...10+ years and my dog still uses her original collars and l

My "Spaniel" is a Land Spaniel apparently. This Floatation Vest was easy to adjust and easy to get on my dog. It definitely keeps her above water...but she HATES the ocean! But, it is comfortable enough for her to keep on and roll around the sand in all day, it also helps keep her cool and her body out of the sun...she insists on laying in the sun instead of the shade I provide. It will come in handy because although she hates the ocean, I love the ocean, so she will be in it more! =)
Very high quality vest, but everything I have purchased from EzyDog...and it has been a lot of different things for different sized dogs over the past 10 years, has been of high quality and lasts a dogs lifetime and more. My older dog has had her EzyDog collar for her 10 years and her leashes, although they are slightly frayed and color is faded...they still maintain their elasticity and work 100% after 10+ years!

Very well made, and works great! The fit seems very comfortable for my dog. She runs around normally and doesn't seem to mind having it on at all. It provides great floatation for her in the pool. I really like this product, just what I needed! Now my fur kid can hang out at the pool with me.

We have a 5 pound Pomeranian and she just loves putting on her life vest to go out on our boat. She even swims in the surf with it. It fits perfectly and the handle on top is fantastic for easy and comfortable transfers from boat to water.
Love them

Love the vests I bought another kind at Petsmart an had to return them because they were awful and got lose in the water and the strap wrapped around my dogs leg and she got stuck. Life vest should feel safe Andy girl got hurt because of having one one. So I decide to try this brand out and and I have two small dogs and only tried them once and so far I love them. And they seem to be comfortable wearing them.

We had previously purchased a floatation device for our little dog and it used Velcro under the body to attach it. While this was convenient it would get caught on his fur and he was terrified of the vest. He has no issues putting this vest on and works great.
Didn't quite go all the way around the neck.

We have a small dog (10 lbs). Her body is kind of long. The device was well made and the size seemed right but the front of the flotation device that goes around her neck didn't go all the way around leaving one section without support. The black strap did go all the way around, but not the yellow floaty part. We were concerned that her head would bob under the water. Instead we got one by Ruffwear that fits perfectly. The EzyDog was good, it just didn't work for our dog.
Need 3x small size

Looked like a good quality. I had ordered the 2x small, but still was too big. Had to return it. I am waiting for the 3x small to come back. I have a teacup Yorkie who weighs less than 3 lbs. She loves the water, but I want to take her more places and just want her to be safe. I can't seem to find any other life vest that would fit her. I am hoping the 3x small will come back so we can try that one!
Great quality but Very small sizing.

It seemed to be a quality vest, but the sizing was very, very off. We have a 4.5 pound Mal-Shi and it was too small . . . not sure what dog is smaller so was perplexed. I gave it a 4 star because of the quality and the service I received. I'm sure it would have got a 5 if the sizing was correct.
