I dislike reviewing something with negative feedback but I found that the cords did not hold up and broke, and overall this was much more of hassle than just grabbing my free weights. I like the idea of anything tidy, and that attracted me to it but I found that I hesitated to drag it out and mess with the cords because they always looked like they were going to snap. The idea of having something for easy transport appealed to me but this is heavier and bulkier then is practical for more than a car trip.

I really like the product the only drawback which is pretty significant is the fact the board when flat isn't as sturdy as I would like. It is well built but when stepping on one side the other tends to rise up a bit. I can't knock the product as far as stars because it really is a great product. I just would like some improvement on the base staying flat. I would purchase it again. Like I stated a quality product and great for being able to work out no matter where you go.

The Resistance bands are so weak!!! My husband he is 185 lbs and when he try to work out with it it looks like a thin elastic even though he use the 5 resistance at the same time he didn't even feel nothing.

Great little gym! Compact and sturdy. But the real value are the video on Youtube to work out with.

Con - The bands seem to creep into the other bands' position. Also, I had one band break already after only a month.

Con - the website and phone number DO NOT work? Why? It's supposed to have an online system to do customized workouts with video.

Other than that - It's great.

This package will keep me up on my travel across the United States. The Compact Disc presents two very functional training programs. Well done and very good quality. The system is quite portable and can be used virtually anywhere. Hotel room or campsite!

the main reason why I purchased this item was because of the online video access, although I knew mine might not come with the free year access because its a promotion they're doing with their 2015 version, I decided to purchase it anyways but when you try to register online, I would you go to one site, I had an error saying that your email is invalid and I check the spelling, everything was fine and then I tried another site but once I got to the part to create a password and pressed Enter to create it, it would blank out the password I just entered and say I must enter a password, I went through this for nearly a month but I made sure to return it before my month was up, especially since the number on the site and on the box was connected to what seemed like to be some guys personal line, I don't know if this companies even credible, I would never buy anything from journey gym ever again and thankfully I can say it wasn't a waste of money because I got my full refund but it was definitely a waste of time

I became a fan of the Journey Gym in December 2012 and I loved my product so much I decided to start encouraging my friends/family to buy the Journey Gym. I purchased my second JG couple months ago for my friend and then my cousin bought one. The company is based in Portland, Oregon and has some of the most amazing people you will ever know. Also, the online community is really supportive in your weight loss goals or improving your overall heath.

I work out on the JG both at home and at the JG Persistency Center in Portland, OR. Currently, I fit one day in at the Persistency Center and three days at home. Some days I can only do five minutes and others I do about 25. I have felt a difference in my strength and the appearance of my body. I am not a gym person and I love that I can fit my exercise into my life with the help of this product.

Pros:

Easy set-up and take-down

I can take it with me on trips or outside

Resistance bands for easy leveling up (more weight)

Access to the workout videos on Vimeo

Real time feedback on progress in person and on the online community

Both cardio and strength training in one

Fits into my life

Cons:

Bands do get stretchy but if you watch the video on how to deploy the straps on the handles that should help with the life of the bands

The bands can get tangled but is easy to fix

This is as described and very convenient requiring little space. Good combination of equipment. It is also portable. Now if I used it regularly.
