Why would you put a bright light on a fan some might want to use in a bedroom?

I bought this fan and was very excited. I knew from other reviews it wouldn't be as quiet as a Dyson, but it would at least be quieter than a fan with blades. The problem was I planned to use this fan in my bedroom and the noise level was great. It was a nice level of white noise. For some reason though, they thought that they should put a bright blue light under the orange-tinted plastic of the power button. This let off way too much light and made it unusable in the bedroom. I was also annoyed that the remote only had a range of about four feet, so that didn't help it either. In the end, I had to return it.

Though pricy, this is probably the best fan I've ever had. For the money, it better be. The remote works well if you aim it like a gun. If not, it might drive you crazy. Other then that, it's the best. A lot better then the megabucks for a Dyson.

Too noisy

Had to send it back. The quality of the product was great except it was so noisy. I wanted something I could have on at night, but it was even too loud for my office. Disappointed.

I'm very happy with it. It is quiet and does not buffet one with rough air. The remote works from about 6 feet away, but requires very exact aim to be effective.

The fan is quite loud. Also once you place the top part of fan on lower part I could not get it in the locked position. So it remains unlocked. Otherwise happy with it
