this is nothing but a template for push ups, you could easily do the exercises without this product, BUT if you are a beginner like me this is the best you can get! it forces you to do the exercises with proper form and posture! which is something many beginners like me struggle when changing from being a potato to an active person. I am happy to share that I can now perform at least 5 push ups of each variation, which does not sound that much but for someone that struggled with even knee push ups, I consider it an improvement.

I like the simplicity of this to help me figure out my pushups better but I would change two things.
1) The boards honestly feel like cheap plastic. For the price of this I would expect it to feel a bit more solid, maybe it actually is harder to break than it feels who knows.
2) This is more of a personal preference but the handles are quite hard and being overweight and trying to get back into pushups it hurts my hands resting all my weight on my palms. Making them softer would be an improvement. I fixed it on my own by cutting out a small section of my workout mat and taping around the handles.

I'm gonna give it a 3/5 because I think it is a good product but the price should have been $30 - $40 in my opinion due to the flimsy feeling of the plastic board and could use a little cushioning on the handles.

I am going to go 3-stars for a few reasons and you can judge for yourself. First this is 2 pieces of plastic that are attached together so it flexes a bit on carpet and I am concerned the joint may crack at some point in the future. It is quite thick but still concerns me. Second, and most disappointing is that the handles are also a very hard plastic which is tough on the palms of the hands. You may need padded gloves or try to add some foam padding such as pipe insulation from the home improvement store. For the exorbitant cost of this thing that is something that I would definitely expect. And of course then the third reason is cost vs.value. Based on how and what it is made of, I think $50 is way too high for this.

Now all that said, I do like using it and even though I feel it is overpriced in my opinion, I still think it is beneficial for getting a good upper body workout at home. You WILL feel the workout believe me...and start slow if you are new to push ups. You can good results from this by building up slowly starting with even just 5 reps and having your knees on the ground. If you jump into this at 8-12 reps and are not used to doing upper body, you will be sorry for the next 3-5 days. I have been doing some pushups for the last few months slowly building up the number and I really felt this despite having been working these muscled for awhile. These exercises are harder than they look especially when doing multiple combinations in one workout. Please don't hurt yourself.

On the plus side, they have a whole set of videos on YouTube that show you how to do all the workouts at 3 different fitness levels, Check out their website for the links. Beginner (push up with knees on ground), Intermediate (regular style), and Advanced (adding in a complimentary lower body combo movement to the pushup). Also they do cardio in between the sets as well in the videos.

REALLY great product - I do a quick set of pushups before bed (rotating between R-G-B-Y each night) and have noticed huge changes in just a few months.

Given, I did zero exercise before hand - but that's why this product is so great...

I actually USE this product consistently. It's so simple for me to pump out some push ups while swishing mouth wash before bed - it has become second nature.

I've noticed better posture, more toned muscles, and have dropped from 175 to 168 in a few months. I went from about 5 pushups per night to 30 right now.

Again, I am not some exercise buff - I'm a workaholic who sits in front of the computer and eats junk food religiously. That's why this product is SO VALUABLE to me... It's one of only fitness products I've ever used consistently, because it's so easy to use. It took me just a couple days to build the habit, and it's one of the only 'healthy habits' I've ever had...

Highly recommended - maybe not for the fitness buff who lives at the gym, but SO PERFECT for the 'everyday joe'...

Amazing tool for developing body strength-

If you use it more consistently your soft hands will develop into manly meat hooks capable of crushing average mortals. I do anywhere from 150 to 750 push ups daily and when I was in Army I could easily exceed a thousand a day. This is the best device I've ever used for push ups; better than perfect push up in all ways except portability. The key to success is I set my phone to alarm every 15 minutes from 730 to 1030 each evening. When it is time just drop and knock out out as many as possible. DONT COUNT! Push as many as possible. In a month you will be able to do 50 or more perfectly. If you can do 40-50 push-ups you can probably bench your weight at least once which most people cannot do.

The sets are phenomenal and the tool is super sturdy and I find grips comfortable - in fact due to wrist issue I can't do normal hands on floor push ups without big pain, zero when I have a grip like these, which is why I bought perfect push-ups years ago. I saw these and figured for under 50$ I would try. I love this and last few months were great. It allows you to do push ups and target muscle groups you never thought a push up set could ( or muscles you didn't know you had lol!).

These also of double duty as parallette bars to do some very basic core work as the set is sturdy- the manufacturer should demo that ability- it's a real Easter egg with this tool.

If you are starting out do as I suggested- at nights set your phone or a timer to consistently go off every 15 to 20 minutes for at least 6-8 sets. Do as many as possible using good form and if you can't don't be shy to drop to knees, just keep that back straight and try to keep your head up not dangling! If you are sore skip one day only- after a few nights do daily and each time aim to keep perfect form more than number of push ups.

Add a body vest and do body weight squats and you will have a home gym that's slips under your couch when you aren't using it and can build serious muscle. With the vest you can really challenge yourself on push ups! It will smoke you like a cheap cigar!

This board is great! It does not look like it could be of alot of help but as soon as you start doing the workouts it burns and it feel harder than doing bench press!

I am really impressed and they give you al the workout help you can get! Videos and a workout sheet! This is a must have! After i was almost done with my chest workout i had to finish the last few positions on my knees! And even like that it was a killer!

Highly recommend! I am 6'1 and weight at 278 lbs and this board feel good to support my weight!

Best Upper Body Workout Ever

Im 37 and have been working out since I was 15. This is the BEST thing I have EVER used to workout. I stopped using the gym in my home because of this (except for legs). One problem though, the chest button in my shirts started to pull a lot so I had to change my wardrobe a little. I wear more polo's and sweaters now lol. The most inner grips for shoulders and chest I don't use (I don't think they are good for the wrist. But this has literally changed the way I work out permanently. Pound for Pound with amazing results in a very short time. I also bought one for my 18 year old son and he he also addicted. I talk about it so much that people thought I was apart of the companies marketing team. I also pack it up when I travel.

I don't review unless I'm compelled to do so. This piece of mechanics is great. Although I know how to do these exercises on my own, this product makes it easy, efficient, and is dependable in a way that you cannot cheat in anyway. No need for a big home gym that a lot of us have spent money on. No smith machine needed. Just good ol strength and about 20 minutes of your time. You can follow the routines that are included via cell phone scan, or use the chart included, or just get down and do the colors that coincide with your personal exercise plan that day. I have not worked out in a while. The first day I got this I did the whole upper body from start to finish only doing 5 reps per set. 2 days later I gave the normal feeling of torn muscle fibers that you get when you take time off and life free weights at the gym. I love it. The best part it doesn't take up space. Include your own cardio, stretching, and core training and you're set. ( I have never given a 5 star review before). The Power Press takes out the guess work.

I've been working out for 15+ years and I'm definitely not a fan of this item. It's not worth the price. You can easily buy push handles that do the same job. Or better yet, you can use your own dumbbells. Not only that, this thing is super bulky!! Unless you have a dedicated gym, good luck trying to find a place to store this. And having to store it and use it is a pain. With push up handles, you easily store them away. Plus, the workout program they give you is on YouTube to watch for free!
