As another reviewer wrote, "It's a global warming lesson in every glass." I'm an environmental scientist, so, just perfect. My little sister (age 11) is charmed, as are my colleagues (late 20s, early 30s). These are easy to un-mold, recognizable as penguins and bears, and, at least until they begin to melt, float upright. Keep in mind that to produce intact creatures you have to tap and squeeze the animal figure parts of the mold when filling with water to get rid of any air bubbles.

Easy to use, brighten up any drink

These are adorable, I try to have a couple on hand for any time a special guest (of any age!) comes by. In the summer, they melt down fast, but the initial presentation always gets a smile. You have to pay a bit of attention to making sure that there are no air bubbles when you fill them. A squeeze of the bear/penguin parts and a couple good raps on the counter usually do the trick just fine.

The ice mols work terrific. The challenge is to get the ice molds out without breaking the delicate penguins or polar bear. I have broken them a few times but then I learned to run warm water over the figures and they come out a lot easier.
