Cool little box. Decorated well enough on the outside with that wooden and golden hue color. Steampunk all the way. Nice table top conversation starter. People really like it. Very small so make sure you know what you want to out into it so that it fits. I use it for my outside patio with lighters and smoking materials. The lid just pulls off, no hinge. It's just a little wood box steampunk style so is it worth the money? For a novelty one time purchase and conversation starter, I'd say yes

I got this box for my cousin for Christmas because she loves steam punk. The box itself has quite a lot of character and both the details and color are great. The reason I gave it the ratings I did was because it came broken and I had to super glue it back together. It was wrapped in bubble wrap, came in a styrofoam box and inside a tightly fitting cardboard box; yet it was still cracked. For $20, the box is very small and I wish I would have read the size description before buying the first one that looked good. I think future purchases of this box should be marked with a "handle gently" type of sticker.

This item was very nicely packaged. Very cool looking piece, too! A few things that I personally didn't like we're a few green paint marks on some "bolts" that made it look unfinished. The top comes completely off, and just rests on top when closed. It doesn't have a tight fit. Not my problem though, as I bought this as a gift for my 13 year old nephew who is in LOVE with it! Overall I am happy with it.

not what I would call quality. I was expecting the color to be brown/bronze. It was more of a gold/mustard color. It looks like it was spray painted over all of the parts. Mass produced and cheap/fake looking as far as steampunk goes.

Box looked very nice and my fiance loved it. However the lid doeant sit flush to the box as if it warped. After inspecting it was an extremely cheap wooden box underneath it all.

Lid does not fit snugly. I bought it for my husband's gaming dice and it holds about 40, but is not good for transporting them. More of a countertop jewelry box item if you don't need security of any kind.
