Junk.

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my wife. The one for me? broke on the first use... cutting the thin plastic bands that are part of the packaging on a new garden hose. The one for my wife is still intact, because it hasn't been used yet. Though its is so flimsy that once I unfolded it after showing her how it works? it no longer lays flat because the joints warp when you bend them.

Would not recommend.

Interesting and unique concept but has its flaws
by Josh (3 out of 5 stars)

The concept of this product is so that you can fit a small, compacted knife into your wallet or purse as it is the size of a credit card. The concept is very cool and unique; however, it is not what I expected. In its flat, card-like shape it is rather flimsy because it does not fold into a solid, credit card form, the edges where it folds are made of much thinner plastic so that it can bend into its knife form. The locking mechanism is very simple but effective and the knife comes very sharp. It is convenient to use but a little awkward to hold when using. All in all it is a unique product and is convenient and easily transported. The reason I give it three stars is because I would much rather have a solid, well built, full metal knife in my hand that I can really rely on. For what this item is and how it has to be made to achieve its function it is very cool.

The other reviewers are being silly

This is a simple little $6 knife that fits in your wallet. Anyone who expected the folding handle to be anything but thin plastic is being silly. Here is the real skinny.
- Yes it fits comfortably in your wallet. It's approximately the thickness of three credit cards.
- The handle is sturdy enough for proper use but not the kind of thing you want you put your weight on.
- The blade is very thin but is razor sharp.

Think of it as a thin box cutter with an extra long blade and you won't be far off.

If you are looking for a cheap pocket knife for cutting cable, twine or boxes but have it still fit in your wallet without you noticing then this knife gets the job done.

Cute and nifty

I like knives, and i thought this was going to be a great knife after an advertisement on Vat19, and it was as good as i expected it to be! The blade is very sharp, the polypropylene handle and card like plastic is very durable.

THATS RIGHT, POLYPROPYLENE PLASTIC!

Many people thought it was going to have an aluminum handle, which is stupid. It is a knife meant to be discrete and versatile. Don't be an idiot and expect an amazing folding knife with metal hinges because that would make this knife fairly useless. it's a nice buy, has been very sturdy with cutting packages, opening letters, cutting detergent bottles, stripping wires, and i even succeeded on the tennis ball test (cut in half). it's a cute knife, not an amazing one by any standard, but it's nice to have in a pinch.

Again, great, durable plastic handle, sharp, durable blade, fits in wallet perfectly, and is very versatile. Worth the money.

Here is the Vat19 youtube video if you want to know the truth.

Great little knife!

Ordered this knife from Camp One, arrived in 9 days. Very fast (overseas) shipping. Cool little knife for your wallet, great for all those times you need a knife in a pinch. Understand there are limitations on the knife inherent in its design. Obviously it's no substitute for a full tang blade, but you can't put those in your wallet. Originally designed as a cheap, disposable surgical blade for use in areas without SHARPS containers. Nice edge, already used it to open a few packages. No issues with knife staying in either configuration, and knife has a lifetime guarantee on folding seams. I like that you can lock the blade down in card mode. I want to say I do treat it with care when transforming it back and forth. I think anyone with common sense who wanted to preserve it would. As for the seller Camp One there was an honest mistake in my order (I ordered 2 silver, got 1 black). I contacted them and they immediately took care of it courteously and professionally. I couldn't have asked for a better customer service experience. I recommend both product and seller.

i got this a while back when it was $.01 and trust me it was worth every penny lol , but really, its just a small knife that is good for your last minute things you might need to cut, like lose string on your shirt ... its not a self defense tool, its honestly very flimsy but thats what you would expect from something that fits in your wallet... good buy... (ps. dont forget you have it if you ever have to go to court... they frown upon it... with force... you might taste dirt... just saying... LOL ) other than that its GREAT!!!!

Excellent

This knife is perfect for anyone who wants to carry a blade of any kind on them with out being stopped, pestered or even arrested by police. I've been stopped for having a pocket knife before, even arrested for having a small pocket knife. This completely eliminates the threat of overzealous police. Not only is it razor sharp, it fits perfectly into the wallet. This particular design is superior to others I've seen on youtube reviews and lays flat when in card form. The blade is 2.5in. long, and since it fits in your wallet, it's perfect for those who live in strict cities like I do. It is made of plastic, but that should not deter you from buying it. For a few bucks, it's 100% worth it. I even received mine a month before the expected delivery date.

Ehh....
by Josh (3 out of 5 stars)

This knife is ok as a back up knife if you have nothing else. When I received it I folded it to see how good it works and it started to split around the seems immediately. For the price I guess it is better than nothing. It would work for an Altoids can emergency survival kit. I would not use this knife if I had anything else that would work. It is very dull and going to be difficult to sharpen if it even survives the attempt. You may be better off using a sharp rock to cut stuff with if you can find one. I only gave this knife 3 stars because it was cheap and it was delivered early and like I said it might be better than nothing.

eh...its ok

Before i ordered it i thought i would give it 5 stars right off the bat, but once it got here i changed my mind. When i fold it into a knife it doesn't stay a knife. It always wants to unfold back into a card. you have to keep holding it if you want to keep it a knife. I thought the metal would be black too, but it wasn't. Also it feels like it could fall apart any minute. On the up side it does fit into my wallet and is very sharp. I wouldn't recommend buying it. Just go buy a pocket knife for 2-5 dollars more.

Remarkable innovation
by Avid reader & gardener (5 out of 5 stars)

very handy, easy to use and very sharp. I carry one in my pocket when I'm outside doing chores plus keep one in my purse all the time. It's makes opening blister paks, feed sacks, removing tags and even cutting tough meat in a restaurant simple. Too often any more restaurants steak knives are duller than forks and when I use my 'credit card' knife people ask me about it and I show it to them and recommend it. I'm very happy with this 'little innovation' as it's useful, light and has amazing strength and uses.
