This chair worked great at the beach - not only for providing the extra shade - we also used the top to set our cell phones, towel and other small items. The top also provided a shield against the wind and could be adjusted to lean forward or tilt to the side by adjusting the height on one side or the other. Pretty sturdy for the money - Easy to set up and fold up. No problem with getting it in or out of the case. Pretty comfortable for a folding chair at this price! I like that it has two cup holders.

Just bought 2 of these chairs, looking for shade and light weight, I have back issues. This chair fit the bill, ill be able to carry mine and husband can carry o my his. We're 70, so portability as well as comfort is essential.

This works great. A little heavier and bulkier than the average folding chair, but that's a given given the canopy. The carrying bag it comes in has a nice wide strap and is long, so it slings over the shoulder easily and you don't really feel the weight...with smaller chairs, i've actually found it more difficult to carry them this way. Anyhow, the chair is sturdy, and the canopy adjusts really nicely. The one thing I will say is that if you are much taller than 6'2", you may find the canopy a tad low. Other than that, i love it. Took it out on the sand yesterday for an all day event, and when i wasn't in it, teammates were. And like i said, it's sturdy. The canvas seems thick, and I'm hoping it lasts a long time.

I saw people at the beach using this, and had to get it. Much easier than an umbrella when it gets windy, and I don't have to carry my chair, and umbrella and poles like I used to do. I've used it once and am satisfied. I did read other reviews before buying. Perhaps the quality has improved. I checked all nuts and bolts when I received it, and everything is okay. The fabric is durable and not at all uncomfortable. I like the fact that it's a chair, umbrella, drink holder and accessory bag all in one. It came with a decent carry bag, is pretty light weight, and easy to unfold. No problems so far, and the price is good. I am near the beach and go quite often, so it will get plenty of use.

Having the shade is great, but the side pockets ripped within 3 months. If you are used to folding your chair quickly then put it in the carry bag, then re-think this one. While it folds together nicely, it is cumbersome putting it into the carry sleeve since it is wider than others (due to the shade).

These chairs are great ( I purchased two!) I got them for the beach to have a chair/umbrella all in one. The chairs are very comfortable and easy to open/shut. The canopy is also easy to open and shut. The canopy can also be easily adjusted to various heights and angles to ensure proper shade from any angle of the sun. They are a very good design and sturdy. They have a pocket on the side for your phone/keys/etc. I really am happy with this purchase!

I like having a nice chair for sporting events, and really wanted a shade chair for sunny days. The chair is very lightweight, and it comes with a carrying bag that also includes a strap so that you can throw it over your shoulder. There are a couple of flaws with the chair, though. There is a small ladybug sized hole on the top awning, which I discovered as soon as I opened the chair. Also, there is a screw that holds the fabric onto the chair pole, and I think the manufacturer should put a washer on it because the fabric hole is already larger than the screw hole, so it disconnected (easy fix; see photos)...I really like being able to pull the awning down over my face when I'm feeling antisocial or when I want private browsing in my phone (see photos)....Since this is going to be used outdoors, I am still giving it 4 stars because it will serve the purpose and I like it.

Bought this chair for my wife in may used it twice and the stitching is coming apart on the arm of the chair and falling apart not happy at all. Would be very happy if Amazon would replace it. It was a Mother's Day present. Very poor craftsmanship!!!!
