Product Description

An extraordinary pliers which incorporates patented and award winning technology to solve screw extraction problems. It is the all purpose pliers with a unique feature. VAMPLIERS are made from carbon steel produced by Kobe Steel of Japan and is best suited for strength and durability. A combination of vertical and horizontal serrations prevents slip and provides a strong bite to grab the problem screw. Have you ever been stuck with rusty, stripped, damaged, jammed or tamper-proof screws and needed to remove that screw? VAMPLIERS can do the job with remarkable ease. VAMPLIERS will even work on screws which have special, unique or tamper-proof heads. VAMPLIERS have a patented design of vertical and horizontal serrated inside jaws which bite into screw heads of various shapes without slipping. These serrations are what differentiate VAMPLIERS screw-removal pliers from ordinary pliers. They are much easier to use than screw extractors or locking pliers precisely because of the way it grips around truss, round or pan head screws. VAMPLIERS are made from -- treated high quality carbon steel -- a raw material which commands the highest respect in the world of tools. VAMPLIERS have a smooth varnished finish and environmentally friendly elastomer ergonomic handle grips. The specially shaped vertically-serrated jaws are designed to remove rusted, damaged or tamper-proof screws in confined spaces. The elaborate angle of serration also enables you to bite and turn truss screws (low-profile dome heads). There are always reasons to celebrate: birthdays, anniversaries, promotions at work, graduations, father's, mother's, or grandparent's day, or simply saying 'thank you'. What better way to celebrate than to gift something practical and durable that will be remembered and used for a long time. To top it off, a personalized gift which will be truly appreciated. VAMPLIERS make for such a unique and personalized gift.

I tried to loosen the screw with all my might using good screwdrivers but I just ended up rounding o
by Kevin P (5 out of 5 stars)

I order stuff from Amazon all the time and this is one of the only times that I have entered a review because I was so impressed with this product. My wife ordered a new dryer last weekend and the door opened backwards and the hardware needed to be swapped. I did almost all of this but a single bolt would not budge as it was apparently tightened by Godzilla or one of his relatives and it stopped my entire flow. I tried to loosen the screw with all my might using good screwdrivers but I just ended up rounding out all of the threads on the bolt head. I then turned to my not so trusty collection of screw extraction tools, drilled out the center of a bolt, and succeeded in inserting an extractor tap into the screw which then broke at the top of said bolt and made it impossible to drill into ever again. My wife threatened my life over ruining her day old dryer and I begged for mercy as I was not sure how to remove this solitary screw, I then promised her that I would complete the job the following day, or else. I purchased left handed bits. a new extraction kit, a generic rotary tool in case I needed to go full caveman style extraction and a single pair of $26 pliers. I also thought that $26 for a single pair of pliers is disgusting and outlandish at the time but they now have my love and respect. When I got home from work to remove said bolt I instantly broke a LH drive bit and another existing ex-out set.

I then opened these pliers, grabbed the outside of the round head bit and it turned...the freaking bolt turned. There were no gimmicks, no blood blisters on my hands, no do-overs. The bolt broke and turned on the first try. Vise Grips failed, normal pliers failed, extractors failed, quality screwdrivers failed. I could feel my stress drop immediately and peace returned to my life. My prayers were answered if only momentarily. I cannot recommend this product enough, $26 is steep for a small pair of pliers but if they work as advertised (as they did) then I am a huge fan!

Would not recommend.

Don't understand why all the positive reviews. First time I used these to back out a stripped screw from a bicycle rim, they stripped instead. The steel seems awfully soft. Would not recommend.

Just don't plan on using them more than a few times thanks to very soft steel

I was thrilled when I first tried these, and figured I'd be buying several sets as Christmas gifts. They absolutely do the job- at first. While they're very effective when new, the steel is far too soft for the job. Mine are completely worn out after just a few weeks and not all that much use- a handful of #8 screws in wood (with a fair amount of rot, at that), so it's hardly a worst-case scenario. I contacted Vampire Tools, who were very quick and responsive, and said they'd send a replacement out that same day. Ah, well, I figured, suppose I'd be happy with the durability at a two-for-one price.

That was two weeks ago, and no sign of my replacement yet. Count me considerably less impressed.

I'm not a handyperson at all, but this has fixed all of my nightmare screw issues. I bought it originally to remove a stripped screw from my IKEA half-built product--I had to search online for how to do this, tried other methods, and spent several days in a panic that I just blew $600 bucks thanks to a single screw. When this baby arrived, my screw was out in minutes! I've been able to use it to remove intentionally damaged screws (like opening my apartment window full length as opposed to the restricted length, and fix things around the place that I wouldn't have bothered with. Love it. Great value!

Perfection!!!

I severely stripped a screw while putting together an Ikea desk. The screw would not budge & i was afraid of losing the screw (or damaging the desk) to further damage using a different screw removal method. These Vampliers worked perfectly and instantly!!!! I could not believe it. It gripped the tiny but edge of the screw left very tightly and i just turned the screw to the left and the it twisted out so easily. I used the Vampliers it to remove another screw that was borderline stripped (yes, i used a drill to put together the furniture). These pliers are worth every penny. Now i need to find more things to use these pliers on.

Best $30 I've ever spent
by Ariel (5 out of 5 stars)

I bought a ceiling fan/light that had the screws pre-inserted; to build the fan you unscrewed them and rescrewed them. Actually not a bad idea, except for one stubborn (plus head) screw. I tried several plus-head screwdriver sizes, by hand and with my drill, and did the same with flat head bits. All I did was succeed in stripping the screw more and more, with greater and greater amounts of exceptionally unladylike invective. The rubber band technique didn't work. I didn't want to try to drill it out and extract it, since it was already screwed into the fan. Online sleuthing and product reviews on Amazon (you reviewers rock, thank you so much) turned this up. I mean, the name is just adorable enough to buy the pliers IMO, but $30 was a bit steep for "adorable." It took a few tries, but the pliers were small enough to get into a tight spot, REALLY latched on tightly, and stayed that way until I could torque that little mother out... and I'm a major weakling. I've had to deal with stripped screws before and they're annoying AF, so I am super-happy to have these guys in my toolkit. Ten stars!

Pros:

Adorable name

Maneuverable size

Super-clampy-fangy-no-slip grip on screw

Invective-free

They seriously work

Cons:

Who spends $30 on a pair of pliers

I spent $30 on a pair of pliers and don't regret it one bit

A high quality item that works
by Lauren Mueller (4 out of 5 stars)

This item is as described. It's quite pricey. I tried three different screw remover tool sets before ordering this. It didnt work for me only because where the stripped screw is located there is no room on either side to get this tool to grip the screw and turn. I would need the needlenose type, but I could only find that size in a two-pack and just don't see that I would have an extended use for this outside of one or two times maybe in my life, so not worth the investment. I believe, for a professional handyman this is a Must-have item in their tool kit! It is high quality, well-made, not a flimsy tool and would hold up well to multiple, continued use.

Great product for getting out screws from a carburetor! Highly recommend!
by Scott L. Miller (5 out of 5 stars)
March 22, 2017

I was working on a 2003 Polaris Predator that I haven't ridden in about 4 years. I figured it needed to be jetted (Clean Carburetor, etc.) I started to unscrew the bowl of the carb. and the screws were soft and tight as I ended up stripping the screws on 3 out of the 4 screws. I didn't want to damage them anymore so I research a solution which basically you'd have to grind out a flat head area on the screw to create a better/stronger for for a flat head to fit in. I did not really want to do that so I ordered a pair of these Vampliers and was I surprised at how well they worked. They grip the screw and take a great bite so you don't slip like the screw driver did. Great product for getting out screws from a carburetor! Highly recommend as I'm not sure how long they'll last which I'm sure after many uses over time could lose the teeth but even a one time use is worth it for me.

Incredble! Just Incredible!

I was at wits end! I managed to strip the head of a screw while drilling it into the metal guide railing of my garbage dispenser drawer.

I spent a good week trying to remove that screw. This included the infamous rubber-band trick where you insert a rubber band into the screw head to create grip points. That did not end up working.

My last ditch effort was purchasing these pliers.

I uploaded a video that shows exactly how it performed on the very first attempt. I wanted to capture the experience on video because I wanted my review to be properly documented based on first-time performance.

If you watched the video you can see that, first attempt, I was successfully able to grip the screw and turn it out of its hold.

For me, this was an incredible moment. I had desperately attempted for days to get that screw out. Who would have thought the Vampire pliers would have done the trick.

Listen, the video tells the whole story. This is an amazing product which I would recommend this as a last resort purchase --- but you can be assured that it will work for you.
