I bought the Earth version. The two are the same size. For some reason, I wish this one were just a bit smaller, but that's just a personal quirk. Otherwise, everything I said about the Earth version applies; The bowl is shallow but well-shaped -- sort of half-platter/half bowl. The material is sturdy. I haven't used it for anything so far except a conversation piece. For that, it's perfect. Putting anything in or on it would seem almost beside the point or somehow disrespectful. I'm glad I got it, though. It's just right for my geeky home.

This is BIG...and very cool looking. Perfect for my mom's table. One small complaint, if you look closely, there are small nicks in the design, like it's a big sticker or something, but you can barely see them ,and it doesn't take away from the design at all...I would buy again.

Pictures don't do these serving bowls justice. All three pieces in this series are breathtaking. I wish they made them for the whole solar system.

Wonder serving dish for any dry finger foods (cookies, cupcakes, muffins, etc.). Probably not great for cake or anything that requires cutting or a messy clean up. Must get the entire set (Earth, Moon and Sun) to complete the series!

The idea is nice. My plate came with the image peeling off at the edges.

It was a great size but did look a little cheap.

Not As Cool As It Looks

This is basically a giant moon sticker stuck onto a bowl. When mine arrived, this sticker was torn. It looked pretty cheap -- not like it does online. Kikkerland seems like a good brand, and I was disappointed with this product.
