Nice Size, but a Word of Caution.by Rashie (2 out of 5 stars)

I recieved this item a month before it was warm enough to use it so it sat in its box in a closet until today. I used a hand pump to inflate the spring which took over an hour due to its size, which is ok as I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is actually as big as pictured on the box. After inflating it I placed it in my pool while my kids and I suited up for some splashy summer fun. By the time we got outside the spring looked like it had lost a considerable amount of air so I reinflated it and checked to make sure the valve was closed before putting it back in the pool. 30 minutes later it was again clearly losing air. We searched for the leak responsible but never located a hole or weak seam anywhere.
Unfortunately I missed the return window by 2 days so there's nothing to be done about it I suppose but if I can I would like to prevent another customer from wasting their money too. So buyer beware...inflate your spring to make sure its not defective as soon as it arrives.

We like to try out a new floaty in our pool every season. We thought this one would be fun for our kids, but you couldn't really do anything on it. You couldn't really float on it, because it wouldn't stay under you. After one of the seams gave out with little actual use, I have to give this a less than stellar review.
Best 23 bucks I've spent in a long time

Bought one of these for my 7 year old's pooll party and it was an amazing hit. The kids played with it for an hour and then it was hard to drag them out of the pool. Despite only being $23, it did not deflate at all. Thank you Spring Thing!
kids went crazy

I've read some reviews saying it popped to easily. I can't comment on that because we've only had it for 1 day. But I can say that as far as getting kids excited and generating innovative play it's awesome. It's so big and bizarre that my kids are drawn to it. They have made up 10 different things to do with it. So in my opinion, even it it does pop after a few days of use, it's worth the money.

I bought several inflatables including this one for a large pool party. I had low expectations and this crazy thing turned out to be very impressive. An air pump is basically required, and even then it is difficult to get enough pressure in it. But once properly inflated it held its air better than all my other inflatables. Plastic seems fairly thick and the kids were VERY abusive, using it to aggressively drag 8-10 other kids around and around the pool. I was expecting it to pop at any time and it survived the entire party, we manually deflated it to use again. Everyone wanted to play with it, definitely the most popular float at the party.

Beware, pay attention to the dimensions. It's enormous. It held my 5 yr old granddaughter and husband (NOT a small or lightweight man) with room to spare.

Seems to be a durable pool toy for my nephew and son. It's about 15 feet long before inflated! I was shocked with its size.

This has been a great addition to our summer pool fun. It's huge and enjoyed by all ages. It has held up for weeks in the pool in over 100 degree weather. Well worth the price! Kids love it!

I'd say it's surprisingly durable- also can be used as a full body shield when avoiding hits from 13 yr old kids wielding Pool noodles
