In my opinion, this is a very good looking Chrome Mask.

It fits my head/face perfectly. This mask will fit an adult with an average size head, and may even fit pretty well on most children too. For me, it wasn't hard to see thru this mask, and I also had no problems breathing out of it either. Overall, I really like it.

Great for costume.

My son (11 year old) used it for his "Robot Football Player" Halloween costume underneath his football helmet. I should've cut a couple of inches off of the mask for a perfect fit but since we didn't he can now use the mask for other things. It's clear enough you can see thru it when wearing, almost like a one-way mirror.

My son is 5' tall if that helps potential buyers. I've also worn it and it fits comfortable in a grown up (round) head. He also used this Robot Costume: Forum Novelties Men's Robot Adult Costume, Multicolor, Standard

The mask was basically what I wanted. I was nervous about it when I first opened the box because it looked like it was too transparent and not chrome enough. Once you put it on, and there's no light behind it, it looks great.

It's not super high quality and there is some slight scuffing on the chrome, like it had been packed away, pulled out to sell, then packed away a few times. Nothing major, though.

One mask did have an issue with the Velcro pieces matching on the elastic headband. Both ends had the same fuzzy side of Velcro and so it wasn't able to stick together for wearing out of the box.

I really like the look of this mask and it works pretty well for its cheap build. There's a piece of foam inside that goes on your forehead to keep it from smashing your face. You can see through the mask easily, while others will just see the silver color.

Would love to give this 5 stars but it came really scratched up, and only became more scratched from there. I assume the paint used for this product is just really easy to get off due to its nature, but maybe some kind of clear coat or something would prevent the scratching from happening? The scratches not only make it look less appealing, but also allows people to see through which defeats the purpose of the mask. Really like the concept and was okay for my purposes though.

Scared the bejesus out of my son...

My son (14) is home for summer break. He is up at all hours. I have told him to "keep it down" more than once. Got this in the mail, added a black Jedi robe with the hood up. He went downstairs to the kitchen and rattled around. My moment came.

Quietly stood at the top of the stairs, lights off. He noticed me as he took the first step. Stopped mid-step, stared blankly, blinked a few times, reached out and flipped the lights on, and thats when I lunged at him.

My wife did not approve. (She laughed for 2 hours, but did not approve.)

My son now makes ninja-esque trips to the kitchen.

Reasonable for the price

The price is okay, perhaps a bit high ($7 when I purchased) but was the only seller.

The first mask I got seemed to have had the mirror coating on both sides and was impossible to see through. Returned with no issues and got replacement which was useable.

Packaging was good, so mask is protected. My only issue with the mask itself is that they have a small piece of foam glued to the inside of the mask, supposedly for padding, but it was squarely between my eyes and not at all comfortable, so it had to be removed.

Thankfully. the glue residue does not impair vision.

Vision in the mask is okay. Not as good as in some other masks I have seen, so in brighter light it is good, but if you go out at night, it is like wearing sunglasses, so there is some loss of visibility.

Poor Quality, Malformed and Scratched

Ordered this mask assuming there was minimal room for error. Well, I was wrong. First off the elastic band placement isn't the same on both sides (pictured with a skewer to show proper alignment). This causes the mask to sit crooked on your face. The actual mold of the mask itself is malformed and warped, which is only made worse by the elastic issue. Lastly, my mask came with scuff marks all over the front. I attempted to capture a picture of this but it's difficult to show with the reflective surface. Normally I would simply return or replace it but this isn't eligible for return. If I could give it less stars I would. The manufacturer managed to mess up a very simple concept. I would recommend going to a Halloween shop and trying a few on. These kinds of masks are standard at most Halloween outlets. My loss can be your gain, do not risk.

Pretty Good

I'm actually surprised that I can see out of this thing at all. Its like looking through some extra-dark sunglasses, more like looking through two pairs one on top of the other. But, even though its pretty dark, you do have a pretty good range of vision as long as there's enough light. However, if you took this to a party and it was dark, you would probably have trouble seeing out of it... That being said, it was a little warped and scratched out of the box. It wasn't warped enough to effect how it fits on your face, and the scratches were only noticeable upon close inspection, so nothing to worry about there. Also, you can breath fine while wearing it, but it does get pretty hot fairly quickly on your face. But for the money, its well worth it as it's very unique.

PS. It looks great if you wear a hood with it.
***UPDATE***

I have since bought 2 more of these. It turns out that the layer of chrome paint on each one is different. The first mask I bought had a very thick layer of paint, meaning it was very dark and sort of difficult to see out of. But the other two that I received had a much thinner layer of paint. One was so thin that you could see through it a bit from the outside. The other mask I received was the happy medium. So, just a reminder, there is no telling how good you will be able to see through the mask until you get it because each one is different.

Don't Waste Your Money

I'm not the type to leave feedback, but this product's lack of quality finally forced my hand.

First off, the holes for the mask cord are so wildly off center from one another that there's no way this thing would ever sit straight on your face. How does that happen?!

Second, the reflective surface has been rubbed off in several spots. We're not talking little scratches, here. It looks like someone went to town with a handful of sandpaper.

There are other issues (warped, paper-thin plastic), but I could look past those for the 10 bucks or so it cost me, but the other issues make this a no go.

The sheer audacity that Disguise shows by shipping such a lack-luster product is astounding.
