Fewer stars than you expected? Us, too.

Like other reviewers have said, the "over 300 pieces" claim is technically true, but essentially deceptive. We were dismayed to open this up and see only 4 - four! - large-sized stars.

Contents, according the back of the box:
- 4 large stars (about 3.5" diameter)
- 7 small stars (1.5" diameter)
- 8 mini stars (1")
- 43 micro stars (micro is right, 0.5")
- 10 astros (kinda cool, up to 5" across, they have a moon, shooting star, 2 ringed planets, 1 Jupiter-like planet, a lightning bolt, a galaxy, and something else that I can't identify)
- 1 adhesive sheet (230 shapes)

So basically you only get 70 real items, most of which are way too small to be spending hours trying to hang up with tiny bits of putty anyway. And the adhesive sheet is a joke...yes, it is glow-in-the dark, but it is mostly tiny little stars reminiscent of what a teacher would buy at the dollar store and put on your paper when you correctly name all 9 - er, 8 - planets on your science test.

So if you want to spend hours hanging up tiny little stars that no one will even be able to see, go for it. You'll get a few cool items but not much else. Rating as 2-stars instead of 1 because if they'd charged only $8-10 and accurately listed the contents instead of trying to fool their customers, it'd be an okay product.

They were OK!!!!!

I think they should give you more stuff to put up the stars. And I wasn't happy with the stickers they give you to put up. They didn't come off the sticker holder easy. They were hard to take off and a lot off them were not cute out that good so a lot of the stars don't look like stars case they were not cut along the lines or something. But other then that its ok. I'm going to pick up more of theses for my Bedroom but I hope I have better luck with them then I had with theses ones.

Don't be fooled by stickers

You get a few actual plastic glow in the dark pieces that are legit. Then a BUNCH of teeny tiny stars. The "200 + adhesives" are basically cheap stickers where the glow in the dark dust comes offrom every where. Lastly, they do not provide enough putty for all the stars you do get (which like I said above...isn't much).

Neat gimmick - but not enough paste included to affix stars
by Krishna Draws! (3 out of 5 stars)

We bought this product to decorate my daughter's room. It was shipped very quickly (thank you, Amazon Prime). In the package are an assortment of large and small stars, planets, a small 1" x 1" square of adhesive paste, and a set of glow in the dark stickers. The stars, do in fact, glow in the dark reasonably well - but application of the included paste onto the stars is a messy affair. For the price, there's simply not enough paste to go around. I would have preferred a tube or even a swab to make the paste application easier. All in all, it's a decent product - but the included paste is the weakest link.

Starry Nights!

Love 'em! I had them when I was a kid, now my daughter has them too. It also came with the sheet of little sticker stars, planets etc. in addition to the hard plastic ones with the putty. Oh and the putty stuff is included. All together it makes a really nice indoor night sky. She's three and just figured out to be scared of stuff at night. The stars seem like they give her enough of a distraction to look at until she falls asleep without the constant glare of a night light right in her room. Before this she had one of those projection lamps that played music while she fell asleep but we went through batteries like crazy. This is a much nicer and cheaper option me thinks.

Stars glow wonderfully, my kids love them

Stars glow wonderfully, my kids love them! The only down side to this product is the pack of stickers. The product is advertised as 300 glowing star pieces, which there are, but half of those are glow in the dark stickers. Not actual plastic stars. That kinda bummed me out, but not enough to lower my review any further.

Pieces Don't Glow

Very disappointed in this product. I have other stars in the room already that glow all night after absorbing sunlight through the windows during the day. I added these stars & other pieces and they don't glow at all except when there is a black light shining on them.
