Accidentally Broke My 1st One, Bought Another (still happy with it)by J. Folkes (5 out of 5 stars)
December 14, 2016
I'm loving this little gadget. I drive a 2008 BMW 528xi, which has Bluetooth capability for phone calls but not for audio. My auxiliary port had something wrong with it and the sound only comes out of one side of the car. Plus the cord was annoying and ugly, especially since the port is behind the center console (basically in the back seat). I just plugged the mpow in, connected it to the phone, and it works perfectly. The sound is amazing, and I can hear the music on both sides of the car. This was a great investment, I'm really pleased with it.
Got unlucky, but I got a free replacement immediately

I was happy with it, long battery life, better sound quality than the one I had before.
Then after 3 weeks of almost daily used it became unresponsive. Light keeps blinking, but it doesn't sync, doesn't start, doesn't quit, doesn't reboot, doesn't turn off regardless of how long I keep the buttons pressed.
Then surprise "This item is not elegible for return because it's flammable" (I guess they are talking about the lithium battery).
I guess I can try to see if warranty return works directly with the manufacturer. Slim chance for a smooth customer service experience, since it's not brand name. Not worth my time to try for $13 I paid.
Update 2 weeks later: Wow, Patozon (the seller) customer service went above and beyond what I expected. I was pretty much resigned to the idea that I've got a bad unit and I can't return it because of some weird restrictions on lithium battery. However the seller sent me a replacement immediately, as soon as I posted my review, without me even asking. It works great so far, so I'll go with the assumption that I just happen to get a bad unit and since it was replaced without any hassle I'll bump up my rating a couple of stars. Thank you!

Take a look at the video I posted. You are able to set this up and creat a hands feee Bluetooth system with your standard Harley stereo. No need to go and buy a brand new Harley or BoomBox system form Harley. Our phones do WAY MORE than a freaking stereo unit any way. Check it out!!
For company and an older version

I purchased this to replace an older version purchased 3/2016 whose multi purpose button had stopped working and I wasn't as happy with this version--the battery life is spotty, the Bluetooth can interfere with other Bluetooth connection but, the sound is still good. The page for the original item is no longer available.
The company and seller are SERIOUS about their 18 month warranty and contacted me to see if I was 1. happy with my purchased and 2. to remind me the warranty was nearly up.
I let them know I loved the original purchase and not the replacement purchase. They immediately shipped me a new one (box pictured).
Will buy from again. Love the original product and now I'm a huge fan of their customer service! It had an AMAZING battery life, great range (they definitely mean up to 30ft), produces better sound than an aux cable.
Used for ATH M50X Mod

Works great as advertised. Can't compare them to others because this is my first bluetooth receiver purchase. I can definitely say that my ATH M50X lost not quality in sound with this receiver. This receiver keeps audio in tact and is very stealthy looking.
Make nearly any headphone, wireless!

I bought this because I wanted to listen to our Amazon Fire TV (which currently is in the bedroom) while my wife sleeps. I wanted headphones that were light weight and not noise canceling (I wanted to be able to hear noise around me.) Nothing really worked except my Apple EarPods.. only thing, they are wired! Well... with the Mpow Bluetooth Receiver, they magically become wireless!
Our FireTV is about 10 feet away and they connect just fine, and stay connected until I turn them off. No random disconnects, or static. The pause and play button on the device will even pause the video being played. My only issue was with the volume, if you quickly press the up/down button, the audio will cut out completely. You have to press and hold down on the button to adjust the volume.
I have tested this Receiver on the Superlux HD668B, and Audio Technica AUD ATHAD500X.. both headphones worked just fine wireless. The nice thing about the Superlux, is the wire is super short and the Mpow will plug directly into the headphone (See pic.)
Cheap yet valuable solution to the in car bluetooth problem

My car does not have bluetooth, but it does have an aux port in the center console. I've always had cords around the car which get caught and deteriorate over time. When I upgraded to an iphonex I figured there's got to be a bluetooth solution. I wish I had done it years ago. I love this device! I've already shown it to a few co workers who have each bought their own.
PROS:
- Really long battery life. The product says 10 hour battery life, but I've had it in my car for 3 weeks so far without a charge
- Easy connection. Once you've done the initial pairing, all I have to do every time I get in my car is just push the on button
- Very clear sound. I always got a little static with my cords (because they got pinched in the console) but this is clear
- Turns itself off. Once I'm out of bluetooth range it seems to turn itself off and not use battery. This is helpful as it saves me a step of turning it off every time I get out of the car.
- Cheap. It would be sooo expensive to replace my stereo. To find a solution under $15 is incredible.
CONS:
- I ask siri to do a lot while driving. Because the aux is in my console I think my voice is muffled. This isn't a defect of the product, but rather my car setup... but I thought it worth mentioning. Would be nice if there was a way to have siri stay on my phone and not depend on the aux.
Brought my old truck into the 21st Century

I love this little thing!
I have said that each time I get in my truck with my son and start playing my music through it. I have an older truck - a 2002 Toyota Tundra. While it's 6 disc in dash CD player and Tape player were state of the art when I bought it in 2003, it falls behind in todays world. I have been getting by through using a cassette adapter which I would connect to the 3.5mm output of my phone. But this meat dangling wires and removing the bottom of the mophie cover I have so I could plug it in. Those days are over!
I mounted this to the pillar/door frame of the truck. I spent about an hour removing the trim so I could bury the wires so all you see is the last two inches of the USB cable and the 3.5mm plug cable coming out and into this which is velcroed to the pillar. This puts it about 10 inches in front of me and 4 inches to my left so the microphone easily picks up my voice for phone calls. With it "Hard wired" in this fashion, when I get in the truck I just hold down the play button a couple of seconds till I hear the connection through my truck's speakers and then press and release it to start the music flowing from my iPhone. A call comes in? Just press the button again and it connects - and automatically returns to music when the call is finished. I don't even have to take the phone out of my pocket or off the belt clip - so this is much quicker and easier than my previous set up. It is always plugged in and charging when the truck is on.
My Tundra is now in the 21st century and ready to last me another 15 years!
Works like it should!

My first purchase was the Trond model which never automatically connected after pairing. The unit eventually stopped working after 3 months:
TROND 3.5mm Bluetooth V4.2 Audio Receiver Adapter with Mic & Clip (True Wireless Stereo, AptX Low Latency, Volume Control), for Car Kit, Home Stereo, Headphones
After the Trond fail I purchased the the Mpow. So far it is working fine. It paired to iPhone 7 without issue and connects automatically each time I power it on. I have not used it for calls, only for streaming audio to my vehicles stereo system via the aux port.
My only "cons" so far: The build quality doesn't feel sturdy (cheap plastic feel, same as the Trond) and having it stick out from the dash so far using the included adapter makes me worry I will accidentally snap it off at some point.
Highly recommended

PRO: Sound quality is there all the way, very clear connection. It's small and fashionable.
Battery life I can live with, I just charge it with for a couple hours everyday. Bluetooth connection is quick every time. Also easy to pause/play/answer/skip songs.
CON: nothing at all.
For the price and the product received, no doubt I will recommend this to anyone
[Update} Horrible range, don't waste your time/money..

Horrible. The range on this thing is abismal. I have this paired with my desktop and I'm literally 2 feet away and it barely can hold a signal. If I hold the receiver (is there anything in here? It has literally zero weight, feels like it's just a plastic housing) in my hand the signal will completely fail and stutter. If I walk 5 feet away it's nonstop static and hiccuping. I've tried disconnecting, reconnecting, repairing, recharging, rebooting. Same stuff. A lot of other people have complained about horrible signal/range so I'd look elsewhere, it's not worth he gamble. And to boot I CANT RETURN THIS. Because it has a battery in it Amazon offers no returns...great.
[UPDATE] Gotta hand it to the sellers customer service. After leaving my 1 star review they contacted me multiple times trying to make things right. After my refund they offered to send me another unit to try out. I got it a few days ago and it functions much better than the original. Range is much more usable. If someone is looking for a good bluetooth unit to use in their car then this small, lightweight unit should work well. I also like how it's usable while it's charging, which isn't possible with some units. Pairing is fairly simple but for some reason my phone doesn't automatically connect to this receiver very quick (sometimes it doesn't automatically connect, sometimes it takes 5 minutes) so I usually have to manually select it from the Bluetooth settings. My only wish for this is that they put a clip on it, but other than that it's a decent buy for the price.
SECOND EDIT: Dont waste your time on this trash. After a day the range went to less than 10 feet. Literally gets no signal if I'm sitting in front of my computer and holding the receiver in my hand. Both units are going in the trash.
