Limited motion, stripped screw

The screw in the battery compartment in the ghost control box arrived stripped so I couldn't put the batteries in. My attempt to try and get the tiny thing out has now made it so I can't return it for a replacement unfortunately. The pac man unit works. I'm disappointed that there's not more motion in the joystick. Pac man essentially only goes forwards or backwards, there's no side to side motion, which will make this far more difficult to steer as I need to get it to turn sideways in order to go down the hallway.

Ghost didn't work, Pacman barely works

The title really explains it all. The remote on the ghost would not light up after inserting batteries and turning it on. Sound doesn't work, remote control doesn't work. The Pacman piece works, but the range is about 6 feet. I can't control it when I'm standing up, but if I have it on the table and I'm right next to it, it goes backwards consistently. Sometimes it goes forwards. I am positive that I have the ghost remote paired with the ghost and the Pacman remote paired with Pacman.

I LOVE these. I bought them as a Christmas present for my brother and his girlfriend , but after getting his, I wound up getting a pair of my own because they're so cute. And we're not kids either. He's 27, and I'm 22. They're great to race around. Obviously, they're not the most sophisticated pieces of machinery around, and they're not the greatest RC cars you can get for the money, but frankly, these are all about nostalgia. So if you grew up playing Pacman and are still a kid at heart, these are awesome.

Better than expected

I was a little wary of this toy, given the size of the wheels and the controller mechanism, but it is better than I expected, in terms of the sound effects, ability to turn them on and off, and the fun that comes with the playing. One word of concern: the rubber band that provides traction around the wheels comes off fairly easy and can be reset, but I thought it comes off too easy.

Both came broken out of the package

Bought as a gift for a Pacman fanatic. Although they figures are awesome, neither worked right out of the package. He took them both apart and the wiring was fried in both!! He still wants to keep them to display, but I am beyond disappointed. A total waste of money.

Should it been easier to install batteries, not the must use of a screwdriver in order to open batteries place compartment, but still it is a nice toy for small children

Really disappointed with the durability of this toy. Bought it for my son (to be brought home to the UK for Christmas by his Aunty living in the USA) and he was ecstatic when he opened it on Christmas Day (Pac-Man is his favourite computer game), just to be in inconsolable tears the very next day when the controllers broke.
