Been around for years as the Balans Chairby reybo (4 out of 5 stars)

A Norwegian product that I bought in the 1980s. Used it 6 to 8 hours a day for 18 years or so. You can kneel at your desk, sit, sit reclining, or rock back and snooze. Every position is comfortable. OK, this was my bed for about 5 years when I had a 24-hour-a-day computer job. The only thing that wore were the foot rests. When the fabric shredded I had it redone in matching cowhide.
One day the metal rod frame surrounding and supporting the seat cracked. Welding fixed it but I ended up replacing the seat when I found a new one for $50.
Keep the pets off. You can spend a good part of a day removing cat hair from the fabric models. I'd get this chair in leather if there's a choice.
You can probably find the Norwegian Balans Chair way cheaper than the $2000+ being asked by this seller. I paid $750 to a fellow Realtor who had bought a dozen to supply friends with at cost.
Creaking and noisy chair

This is our second Gravity. The first one, bought in the 1980ie, was just perfect. The new one, bought 2012, is a mess! The chair is creaking and cklicking, whenever you sit in it or move in it - and thats, what you want to do! 3000.- Euro for such a noiseful chair! And Varier says, we should put the chair every week outsinde - to moist the wood. Can you imagine!
