Really cute concept! Suggest using small to medium sized eggs. It was hard to get the egg in there and it closed without cutting off part of the egg. It shapes the egg almost immediately. Cute for a few eggs, but time consuming to do a large batch.

Couldn't even tell they were egg shaped. A farce. I used medium eggs. Followed directions to a tee. Wish I hadn't bought 2. Trying to figure out how else I can use these molds.

I placed the eggs on the plate and 10 minutes later they regained their original oval shape.(They we in the mold overnight) It did not give me the result that was pictured. I was a disappointed with the mold.

It takes some getting use to, but I was able to get the egg in the mold without the egg becoming a mess. I like this mold it gives the egg a subtle heart shape and is fun to use. I think the package said that the plastic mold is BPA free, or some other chemical. I can't wait to use this on Valentine's day and birthdays.
