Arrived with Damage

Coin arrived quickly. It was a beautiful proof other than arriving with damage. There was deep scratching through some lettering on the reverse. Was excited to add my first proof coin to my collection, but now I'm pretty disappointed, as the proof grading is now out the window and it's value went from roughly what I paid for it to less than half of what I paid.

I have quite a few Eisenhower dollars that I saved from when I was a kid - all in circulated but fine condition. But I didn't have any that were gem proofs. This coin is beautiful! So happy with it. It's ansolutelt perfect and the shiniest silver dollar I've ever possessed. Happy to add this to my collection,
