Think out of the envelope. Designer Douwe Jacobs and engineer Tom Schouten founded Flux (a mashup of 'flexible' and 'luxury') in 2009, and together they created the origami-inspired Flux Chair. Made of durable yet lightweight polypropylene, it's transformed from a single flat pack piece to a curvaceous lounge seat in less than a minute by simple folding. For storage, just re-flatten and hang it on a wall using the handy Flux mount, or place it on a shelf or inside a closet. Works equally well inside and outside, at home or work, uptown and downtown. Available in lots of stylish colors, like Bright Orange, Classic Red, Ice Blue, Jet Black, Lemon Lime, Pebble Gray and Pure White. Made in Holland (a very flat country, go figure). Pair it with the Flux Cushion for maximum comfort and enhanced decor, and the Wall Mount for utility.
