THE TOOL YOU USE MATTERS
With our proprietary HiQ Technology, SwingSmart provides the most accurate results for YOUR golf swing. And we made sure our technology meets the needs of golfers. We worked with CBS Golf Analyst and Top 100 Golf instructor, Peter Kostis, to define the key metrics of a good swing and provide instruction on learning those metrics through our App and the growing library of Peter Kostis Instructional Videos. Peter also understood the value of working on your swing shape without having the pressure of hitting the perfect shot while you practice. We incorporated this idea into our unique Training Mode that allows you to capture a swing without having to hit a golf ball. It all adds up to an extremely effective tool. With the SwingSmart, you will improve the way you practice and play golf.
SHARE IT
SwingSmart features Dynamic Digital Swing Capture. Long name, but it means that when you capture, and email a swing in your SwingSmart App to a friend or teacher, they can open it on their FREE SwingSmart App and view it exactly like you did when you took it. With all of the key swing metrics and the fully moveable 360 degree 3-D View, it’s like having them standing right next to you on the range or on the course. Plus, you can compare any swing you take to the pre-loaded Instructional swings or any swings that your Pro or friends send you. We include swings from Peter Kostis, so if you want to see how your swing compares to the CBS Golf Swing Analyst, step up and give it a try.

Useless broken deviceby R. Osborne (1 out of 5 stars)

It hunk they are out of business. My device was faulty, which tech support acknowledged and sent a replacement which worked for a few swings then broke again. Now support is unresponsive and I'm assuming they are out of business. My advice is buy another device because there is a good chance you'll have a paper weight and no way of getting help, just like me. If support comes to life I'll update this review because when it works it's good.
NOT SURE IT"S WORTH THE MONEY

I have tried (note tried) using this items 4 times now. Out of 300 range balls, I have been able to get the device to recognize only 37 swings. Each time out it will work for about 10 swings and then all of a sudden it stops recognizing the device. My first night out with it was a disaster, none of the swings were recognized. I'm not sure any of the advertised devices would be any better because comments I have read on each of them say pretty much what I am providing. I will say the 37 swings it has recorded have been helpful and using the video replay I was able to stop the swing at various points along my line and pick up some of my mistakes, but that is the only bright spot. I recommend you think twice before buying this product.
SwingSmart is a great tool in your training

I recently purchased the SwingSmart and mine did not work right out of the box. I contacted Angelo at the support desk for SwingSmart and he gave me pointers to try. When all else failed, he sent me a new switch - no questions asked.
That is OUTSTANDING customer service.
The new unit works great. It gives accurate reading on tempo of swing and club face angle (2 of the biggest issues I am trying to address). It is definitely a must have if you don't want to spend $$ on a pro lessons (or in addition to them). Plus, its fun to get the feedback right away and also view your swing plane.
Ordering the product from Amazon was easy and they delivered as they indicated

Ordering the product from Amazon was easy and they delivered as they indicated.
The device is pretty easy to install and getting the device to pair up with my iphone and my tablet was pretty painless.
I do like the data it provides me when I have the device in training mode (one of the best features that I wanted). This will enable me to practice inside during the cold MN winter. I do not know how accurate the numbers are but am not sure if it matters as long you use in relative terms.
One annoying thing is that when the device detects some sort of an odd swing and he is unable to analyze it then it wants you to email the data back to the vendor so that they can improve their algorithm. However when this happens and the display is locked (even though it says it is not) until you go back to the home page again.
I wish the device had the data for all the clubs from bunch of good golfers so that you can compare the different swings so that you can correct your inefficiencies.
All in all it is a nice toy.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

Worst golf equipment I have ever purchased! Worked one time! It's paired to my smartphone and everything is good to go. But it just doesn't work. Biggest golf equipment piece of junk I have ever seen! Total waste of money!
Pretty much performs as advertised

The ability to look at where my club is frame by frame is great. Also, I like the tempo measurement. A couple things I'm not too keen on is that it doesn't carry out the swing far enough through the followthrough. Also, as some have pointed out, the indication as to how open or closed the head is at impact is not too accurate. I think this is due to the speed that the club turns just before impact. I was working on a late release, so the club is turning over pretty fast at impact. I haven't used it for putting yet, but I know it will give me input on my "loopy" backswing.
It periodically will shut off when I take a divot with an iron (I'm working on getting more lag in my swing), but it starts right back up again. I've never had a problem getting the bluetooth connection.
Very interesting device, but so far, not getting all the correct readings from it

I haven't had the chance to try it on the range. I'll need to post a more complete review after I've been able to play around with it some more. There are times when it gives quite squirrelly readings, but for the most part, they seem ok EXCEPT for the club face. Using a 7-iron, while the clubface is square at address, it seems to be telling me that my clubface is 40-50 degrees open compared to address at impact? I normally shoot in the 80s and previously had a USGA handicap of 8 when I played golf frequently. Somehow I doubt my clubface is open 40-50 degrees. Unfortunately this is a key information which can help me improve my golf swing, but if I cannot trust the reading, then the device is not beneficial. I'll need to decide whether this is worth keeping because it is quite an expensive device if I am not getting anything out of it.
Update: Per the recommendation from SwingSmart, I tried it at the range and when actually hitting golf balls, I actually received what looked to be proper readings. Unfortunately that means when I don't hit balls, I can't get good clubface readings which is practically half of the useful information about my swing... I don't think that makes it worth a $250 product when the majority of the time I am using it, I am only getting half of the useful information I want to know out of my golf swing.

Really helped fixing my out to in swing by seeing the angle at impact. Mine broke after a few weeks. They're replacing for free, took 2 weeks to get the replacement. Also nice to be able to see your swing speed.
No good

Not worth it, returned. Technology is not accurate enough. Better to go to local golf store and use their Doppler radar units.
Amazing little device!

Amazing little device. It definitely allows you to see aspects of your swing that are difficult to impossible to see with the naked eye. I've already fixed a club casting flaw that I never new I had and never noticed even though I frequently video tape my swings. The App is good enough, but it could use a little work. For instance, I'd like to be able to scroll through my swings and see all the information (all the numbers, 3D path, and my swing notes) at a glance.
