Super-cute but come apart easily

These googly eyes push pins are super-cute, and I get a lot of comments on them. People love them! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because when you go to pull the pin out you have to be VERY careful or the googly eye part will separate from the pin. Even being careful, I had 2 of the pins come apart. I was able to use a hot glue gun to put it back together, but that's a pain to have to do that. I included a picture of the 2 broken pins.

If you decide to buy these, make sure you have a hot glue gun and don't mind turning it on just to put a small pin back together.

So... I forking LOVE these little googly eyes. BUT (!!!) they arrived with SIGNIFICANT "shop wear" on the eyes and as a result the yes are cloudy looking. (Shop wear would be from the plastic packaging rubbing against the plastic googly eyes; both the packaging and the eyes were really scratched where they rubbed against each other.) I am not sure how they got so scratched up while being stored in a warehouse, but that is the reason for the 2.5 star rating.

Personification to spice up the office!

These pins are fantastic, they give you the ability to personify just about anything. They are a good size and the googly eyes are of a very good quality, as far as googly eyes are concerned. They have a basic push pin back, but the fun is just to make notes more interesting. This is a great prank you can do at the office make a copy of someones photo then hang it up with googly eyes. There are some hilarious combinations that can result from these. I do recommend not covering the inside of your cubicle with them, because it feels like your being watched. My box did not ship well most of the googly eyes fell out of there slots, however none of them broke through the plastic, and none of them broke. This is mainly a concern if you are gifting them.

If you try to remove these to use again, they fall apart. They are simply google eyes glued on a normal thumbtack. Would be just as cheap to make them yourself.

Cute but too fragile

Update: Small. About 3/8th of an inch. The eyeballs wiggle. Adorable and funny, but fragile. If you use them one or two times or have to push hard it can permanently flatten the plastic over the eyeballs and cause the black pupils to distort or fall out of the plastic. I'm keeping them just because they are so cute. And will not be re-using them.

Bought these as a gift and as soon as he went to put one on the corkboard, the plastic popped off. So in general these are pretty cheap, you will need to be a bit delicate with them. Honestly you could just make your own with some googly eyes, superglue and push pins (all available at the dollar store!). and yeah they are a bit long

I was looking for an interesting thumb tack to give to my daughter with a new bulletin board/white board combo for her birthday, and these googly eyes were just the thing. Too cute...the "pupils" move around just like traditional googly eyes. It is lots of fun to press them into actual photos or photos from magazines (like of a cat) to give it big eyes.
