Super fun way to obnoxiously celebrate a goal. The ability to set the goal horn for any one of the NHL teams is a nice touch. My GF is a wings fan and I'm a pens fan, and we each get our home goal horn. The only down side is the volume level of the internal speaker. However, it does have an audio line out, which when connected to the home stereo, is crazy awesome :). It's like being at the game. There's just so few ways you can only hit that button once per goal. This ratio is directly proportional to alcohol consumption.

Update 12/1/17

I have had it for a year now and it is still working. Take the batteries out during the off season or they will corrode. The rang on the remote could be longer. You have to be within 15 feet.
Every hockey fan should have one. I hooked mine up to some computer speakers because as is it just sounds like a cheap toy. Now with the speakers hooked up it sounds great.

This product is even more fun to use when it is hooked up to an external speaker as it is surprisingly loud. My wife is a big hockey fan and really enjoys using it. We own one from years ago (still working) and I decided to purchase 3 of these when I saw it become available again on Amazon. We tested all 3 and 2 worked immediately while the 3rd appeared to be temperamental with the batteries but eventually worked. Also, the sound was distorted once while testing but that cleared up after resetting the power on switch. I received an email from the seller after my purchase and assuring me they would "ameliorate" any issues. Appreciate that part from the seller (Dino Deals) but I would go back through Amazon to rectify any issues. As of now, I have a second light and two lights that will be gifts and all 3 are working. While I would like to have paid less than the almost $60 price, I haven't seen these lights offered by anyone else so I ordered 3 quickly in case the inventory is limited. That is how much we enjoy using this light during a game on TV!

Absolute trash and a waste of $50! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This was far and away one of the most disappointing purchases I've made on Amazon. For $50, I expected a really impressive horn and light combo that made you feel like you were at the arena. Not only is it so quiet you can barely hear it, but we tried to select the Pittsburgh Penguins horn and it wouldn't play. Simply started to play before dying out or skipping. ALL OTHER TEAM SOUNDS WORKED! As a gift for my brother, we immediately returned this product and opted to purchase him something else. AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS - THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE 100% ON POINT!

I have only owned mine for 2 months & 2 days...it worked just fine until tonight, halfway thru the game the remote would no longer activate the unit. Obviously, my first action was to replace old batteries w new ones...still nothing. Then tried a different pair straight out of the box to be sure and still no luck. So now it is basically useless because Im not about to keep it next to me and reach underneath to push the button on the bottom whenever a goal is scored. Probably used it 25 games now have to see if they will replace it or not. I realize its made im china and everyone knows what that means but you'd think it would last at least one whole season. Will update.

Cool goal siren with actual horn sounds from all the teams, activated by a puck remote. Has an audio output, and a switch to turn it off, light only, or light and sound.

PROS: All the different horn sounds are authentic, it's easy to use, and it's a really cool addition to any living room or fan cave.

CONS: There's no volume control, the remote has a very limited distance where it will work, completely manual operation (doesn't have any auto function to tie into NHL.com or bluetooth), a little pricey. It sells for around $50, but is really worth about $25 or $30. Overall, it's not worth the money unless you have a discount or gift card. Kick down the extra money and get the deluxe one that has the automatic feature.

Totally what I expected! This is great for any hockey fan. You can choose your teams home horn sound, it has an audio jack to connect to the speakers, and all the mounting hardware if you care to do so.

With our Blackhawks doing as amazing as they are, I've already had to change the batteries!!!

Side note: My dog ended up eating the puck remote... I was devastated! I emailed the wonderful people at Fan Fever, and they replaced it for free, no questions asked! Their customer service is the best I've experienced in quite a long time!

This is another purchase I made during the 2014 NHL Playoffs, who doesn't want a lamp to light when your team scores on an away game... I seen these in several shops on a visit to NYC for a bit more than what I paid here but the price was reasonable so that's a plus.

The item was packaged well and everything worked perfect when I took it out of the box. The sound output from the unit itself is not bad but I'm all for a blaring horn that makes your innards shimmy. So the fact that this thing hooks up to speakers to really let your neighbors know when your team scores a goal is a plus. The hockey puck remote is a cool feature but you need to be dead on center with the sensor to get it to light 100% if the time. It was cool to cycle through the other team's goal horn but I will keep it locked on my team from now on.

I saw this item at a Pure Hockey store for almost 60 bucks and then noticed here for 40 so i figured what the heck.

It is amazing, I bought myself a Xmas present early. Once i got it I went thru a set of batteries within a week from walking by the remote and always making it sound off .I loved it so much that I bought several for friends and family and EVERYONE loved it. So much so that there friends were asking them where to buy it.

Definitely a best buy in quite a long time. For the real hockey fans out there this is a must. Now my next mission is to get it hooked up to surround sound so I feel like I'm at the game instead of watching it on TV. Great sound quality!!!

This is awesome to have on game day! I will say that one of the reviews confused me a little bit, so let me clarify. There is a setting so that you can personalize the buzzer to your team! This changes the sound of the goal buzzer, it does NOT play the goal song if your team has one. I'm a huge Blackhawks fan and one of the reviews made it sound like it would play Chelsea Dagger as well. It does not, but it does have the distinct Chicago buzzer that you hear at those home games in the Madhouse! Love it!!!
