Healthy dog treatby Cindi (5 out of 5 stars)

Love this product. I was buying it local but then found Amazon has it for less money ( who knew😉) very safe no worries about added dangerous chemicals like in human peanut butter. I put little treats in their longs then a layer of dog butter over the top & freeze it. They love it and it keeps them busy for awhile . I keep it on the fridge so it is firmer so I can roll his pills in it. My little guy is allergic to life & this product is one he can eat safely all natural.
Don't won't eat it anymore.

I have a Cocker Spaniel that LOVES peanut butter. I usually give him peanut butter where the only ingredient is peanuts. I wanted to try this out as he sometimes has problems with his anal gland so he scoots every now and then. When I first opened this bottle, he would love it just like his regular peanut butter but then later his poo was a lot mushy-er than before. I think this gave him an upset tummy. I tried to feed it to him again, same thing happened: REALLY mushy poo (sorry, TMI). I wanted to try to give him some in very small quantities as it's supposed to be good for him but now he won't even lick it at all. I just gave him the regular peanut butter from before & he went for that instead of this stuff. I am not going to repurchase.
My dogs love it.

OK, it's not like I eat dog peanut butter myself or have other dog peanut butters to compare this to... but I feel like this is a good, quality product. My dogs love it. I have a senior dog, who is picky. Since her older sister dog passed, she doesn't seem too interested in eating her food. We finally got her eating again when we brought home a new dog and there went her appetite again. She doesn't want to eat unless we mix in other stuff, but a lot of times she'll lost interest quick. This peanut butter is runny on top, so rather than stir I just pour a little on top of her food and mix. I feel like its healthy enough to give her daily, and it helps her clear her bowl (something she wasn't doing with other alternatives like yogurt or broth) and it doesn't smell as bad as the wet food or other things I was using. I think this will be a staple in our household. And of course, they say they give to dogs in need. An added bonus.
Great Snack for my Puppy!

My puppy loves peanut butter (who doesn't?); however, I also know that traditional peanut butter often contains too much sugar and salt for dogs. Before I discover Dogsbutter, I used the unsalted peanut butter from Trader's Joe. While those were good, it's not ideal because the consistency of the butter is too "watery" and oily.
Dogsbutter is an excellent snack for my puppy - it has the right consistency (a little drier than traditional peanut butter), and contains no salt, sugar, wheat or soy.
Be mindful not to feed your dog too much though. Depending the size of your dog, a tablespoon of peanut butter to a 25 lbs dog is equivalent to 2 slices of pizza to a human. I would be hesitant to fill the whole KONG with Dogsbutter (even if it's yummy & healthy). I suggest filling the KONG with pieces of apples, cover the top part with Dogsbutter, and freeze it for a more long-lasting snack.
Great product, great company

I was using the Kong easy treat and then noticed the ingredients. My little Chihuahua mix LOVES this! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it isn't easy to put into the top of his kong, on top of food.. Some reviewers have said it's runny but you have to stir it well to mix in the oil just like you would with organic peanut butter for yourself. Also, if you store the jar upside down, that helps as well. Since I only give my dog about a teaspoon a day this last a long, long time for him. Will be purchasing again

When we got our baby Corgi, Baron Von Soos, my Girlfriend (who is real) was ELATED; "these are the Dogs the queen has!" she would exclaim. Little did I know that the regal aspect to this breed was actually a genetic trait, as the little jerk had discerning taste, and ended up vomiting from almost every food we tried giving him. After several months, we landed on a prescription dog food that's hypo allergenic, vegan, gluten free, anti-free radicals, open-range, grass-fed, local-grown, pumpkin spiced latte, and he FINALLY was able to keep it down; but any treats still came up. Exhausted, I landed on the Dog for Dog site, and ordered this Peanut Butter for his digestion. Upon opening the lid, Baron Von Soos went into a hypnotized state, following this magic butter around like an aristocratic viper being charmed; nothing else mattered at that moment: toys, humans, Socks, the toilet paper roll gently wafting in the a/c breeze, all were forsaken. I swear I saw waves of colors exploding from his little Corgi brain the instant his tongue touched this stuff. After consuming an entire kong of it, he looked up to me, made eye contact, and nodded his head as if to say "This is acceptable, human." Ever since, his stomach has settled enough to consume other treats, and he has been a happy, hyper boy ever since. Thank you, Dogs Butter, for saving my precious little snowflake from his unintentional bulimia!

Based on the amount my dog drools when I open this, I give it 5 stars. Of course, dogs love peanut butter so it's great to be able to give her peanut butter that is safe and we don't have to worry about sugary/salty human stuff.
Sometimes I'll fill up a kong with dry dog food with some of this peanut butter mixed in so sticks in there better (and refrigerated to make it last even longer) - great way to feed her part of a meal and keep her occupied and engaged.
Great for hiding pills!

One of my 2 dogs has to take medication every day - 2-3 tablets, so I use this doggie peanut butter to disguise the pills. Works every time! I also use the Greenies Pill Pockets but they're a little expensive, and this jar lasts much longer. I used to use regular peanut butter, but I like the extra healthy ingredients added to this peanut butter, as well as no sugar or salt added. It is a bit expensive, too, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. All in all, I think it's a good product.

My dog has a VERY sensitive stomach and we purchased the immunity/digestion peanut butter in hopes that she will do well with it. She has had a few spoonfuls and thus far no complaints. She typically gets diarrhea if something does not agree with her stomach but we haven't had any issues. We plan to use this for stuffing her kong and freezing. As far as consistency many reviewers said the peanut butter was loose but my order does not have that issue. Normal consistency and we plan to continue Purchasing this once we run out!
What dog doesn't love peanut butter

What dog doesn't love peanut butter?! I love the concept and the passion dog for dog portrays and fully support what they do. I strive to give my dog the best and will never give him anything that may harm him inside and out. Hey if you can eat this peanut butter, so can your dog. With no added mystery ingredients it's perfect for your pet. The oil tend to build up on the top so be sure to give it a little stir beforehand.
a great thing) But I do not trust this product anymore

I have purchased this produce many times over the last year (about 10)
First few times I would have given it 4 stars, it is expensive (but some proceeds go to needy dogs, a great thing)
But I do not trust this product anymore, 3 out of 10 were unacceptable, 2 were so dry I could hardly use them.
The last one was so slimy, it had a film on the outside, but the inside was full of a slimy additive, I have no idea what it was.
I looked for contact info for seller, I am not one for giving bad reviews, but I was so disturber to see what they shipped me for my dog.
