I should have listened to the other reviews. This is a great product WHILE it lasts. Which unfortunately is only abuot 2 months. I received one as a gift. Loved it until it died a few months (less than 3) into its use. I was embarrassed to tell the gift giver 'where the wine opener was', so I bought a replacement. That one too died after just 2 months of use.

They are handy, but not worth investing $10 per month to open your wine.

Won't hold a charge. Save your money

I liked it when it worked, but that didn't last long. Even in the beginning, battery needed recharging too often. Even when fully charged or plugged in, it quit in the middle of opening a bottle. I finally gave up, pitched it and went back to the reliable manual corkscrew. This Rabbit was a waste of money.

The up/down action stopped working after about a month, even when fully charged. But, worse, the supplier, Metrokane, failed to even answer my inquiry! I don't think I'm the only one who has had this experience. All I wanted was them to arrange to take back the product at their expense. Metrokane needs to take a lesson from Amazon when it comes to customer service.

I should have returned it because it doesn't hold a charge so I need to keep it plugged in at all times. My previous one (bought new) only lasted a few years so I figure it's the product. Next time I will purchase a new one of another brand. Until then this one will work for me.

This is my second corkscrew. We bought this for the vacation house. This model is compact has all the parts connected we leave it plugged in and it's ready to go. We've had the first model for one year now and it's doing great

The foil cutter is separate; not integrated into the design of the opener and it seemed like it would be lost whenever you needed it.

Don't waste your money. Does not remove the cork totally and then breaks off when you try it again.

I have had 2 of this type of wine opener and I love them. They eventually stop working. I ordered this one because it was a lot less expensive than the others and thought I would try it. It works just fine and is a pretty, flashy, happy red color. Great deal!
