Beautiful cards inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci

These Bicycle cards have a beautiful symmetrical dark green and gold back with a design inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's Golden ratio. Da Vinci is also featured on the joker cards. The face cards are thoughtfully designed with the suit displayed on the armor and the Golden ratio throughout. Playability is great, with typical Bicycle finish and easy to read cards. Really nice set of cards with a premium design, great quality and low price.

If you liked the original Stargazer deck, you'll love this one!

The blue Stargazer deck is one of my favorites. Now, imagine my surprise when I discovered there was a yellow variant: the Stargazer Sunspot deck! To be honest, I like this one better. The cards seem to shine on their own due to the contrast that's generated between the dark background and the warm yellowish hues of the different suits. Also, the glow effect makes them look even more solar. I definitely recommend them!

Poorly packed parcel

This poor rating mostly refers to how Amazon packed the parcel. The cards themselves are of good quality as you would expect from most USPCC decks. The parcel arrived with 4 decks of cards and nothing else, there is nothing to stop them from moving inside the parcel and the corners are ruined as shown in the pic. And as a collector, it is not ideal.

The backs of the cards are nice, but everything else standard. Good feel for playing use (like other Bicycle cards). Worth the $5.39.

These cards are beautiful! As long as you understand not to use them for fast pace games I believe you will be happy! I plan to use them for cartomancy and they are perfect for that. I also plan to use them for casual games. The design is beautiful just make sure you know what you are buying. Hope this helped!

novelty deck not for everyday play

I'm deducting one star for 2 reasons: First, because the edges seem rough cut, and second because the suite colors are hard to distinguish.

I'm not sure if all these decks are like this, but the edges are almost ragged. Wonder if they were produced on a machine with dull cutting blades or something. A little sad since this deck is priced at somewhat premium. I guess they go on the collection shelf. The box is nice with foil lettering.

These cards are very beautiful, I have an obsession with outer space so naturally I was drawn to them and I absolutely love the design and coloring. The reason I take away one star is because the difference between the black cards and red cards is very subtle and they almost look the same, so it takes an extra second or two to register exactly what card suit you are looking at, so in a game like solitaire, it takes you longer to figure out what can match with what. With classic bright red and black cards, you automatically read the suit without thinking about it. So these cards are better for games where color of suit is less important.

Standard deck of Bicycle cards

They're your standard deck of Bicycle cards, so the quality isn't different, just the designs.

I've had friends complain about how difficult it is to tell between black and red (yeah the contrast between black and red isn't great), but personally I have no issues with suit differences since I look at the shapes instead of the colors. It's a really beautiful design though.

Disappointed

The deck is missing the 10 of diamonds and the 5 of hearts. What looks to be a gold color on the back of the cards is not gold at all (only the case has gold on it), and the cards are overtly slick, making it really hard to play something like solitaire. Also, the edges look like they might be worn down already from whatever process they went through in the factory, so I have a feeling the teal borders won't hold up for very long. Not cool-Have to return this deck

Love the Style, Hate the Smell

I don't know if maybe it's just the bourbon playing cards or if others are having the same issue with similar decks, but these cards smell awful. And no, I'm not sticking my nose right up in the cards where it doesn't belong. It's like a chemical smell that must be from the ink or the finishing process, and it lingers on your hands after you play with the deck. I'm hoping it goes away because I really like the style of these cards but the smell if just off putting. If it weren't for the smell, I'd give these cards 5 stars. If there was going to be a smell, it should be like bourbon HAHAHA!
