Ok, I bought several of these for some Christmas fun for after exchanging presents. We decided to open them outsides, for worry of hitting and damaging decorations inside. My concern then was how dirty they would get.

First off, the kids (ages 5 - 21) had a blast! These have enough weight to them to be able to throw them a good distance, but not enough weight where they would hurt when they hit.

I think we made the right decision to open and play outside. I think they do have enough weight to them to know over things in the house, so either have an area without decorations, or play outside.

They did not get near as dirty as I thought they would. Picked up a little dirt, but not bad at all. We washed them as instructed in the included instructions, and they cam out good as new.

This was one of those purchases where I figured I would regret buying. But to my surprise, they were a lot of fun, cleaned up easily, and can be used over and over again!

These fake snowballs have a great feel and weight to them. At our holiday gathering, all ages enjoyed indoor snowball fights (& nothing in the house was damaged). Also sent a set to relative who is deployed - so the troops could enjoy "winter" while stationed in a very hot, sandy location. Was a hit & moral booster. Good quantity in this set.

OMG! I purchased the snowballs for my "uptight" yet close knit office family. Eighty percent of the office workers are female. All it took was for the youngest gal to throw a snowball at one at one of the senior coworkers and the Fight was ON! The first fight lasted approximately 10 minutes. I was laughing and wheezing uncontrollably. Anyone considering purchasing these snowballs should purchase 2 sets. Some balls get lost in that void where socks go. Anyways, lots of fun playing or if you're just watching!

These snowballs were a huge hit, pun intended, at our assisted living Christmas party. Finding an activity that engages young and old and transcends the barrier of cognitive impairment in a social setting is not easy to do.

Everyone had a blast with these. Our residents participated, staff, families, kids. It was great. The weight of these are perfect. They are heavy enough to travel but literally not one thing was broke or even hurt. People with glasses were hit in the face, no issue. The Christmas tree got hit once, nothing broke.

Every assisted living should have daily snowball fights. It was a great ice breaker for family members that can be uncomfortable visiting.

I know people left with a great memory of spending time with Grandma and will be happy to visit again soon.

I'm living in Okinawa right now, where it never snows, so it was nice to get this little novelty to play with my coworkers during the holiday season. The stuff the balls are made of is pretty good quality, and feels pretty close to real snow, just softer (and dryer, obviously). Fun to throw at people, and my friend tried some of the games once while I was busy typing something, and they seem somewhat challenging. I haven't washed them yet, but I'm sure cold water and delicate cycle will be fine if necessary. Recommend adding to your holiday games collection, especially if you have kids or energetic friends.

Initially, I bought this as a gag gift for an adult family member. Then some little ones got ahold of it at a family gathering, and before you know it the whole living room was full of flying snowballs! I wound up buying it again for a preteen nephew, and once again, flying snowballs everywhere! The fabric is firm but squishy, and it doesn't hurt if you get popped in the face from a kiddie-throw. We've had these for at least two years, and there's no sign of fraying or falling apart. I love, love, love this and will definitely buy it again as a gift.

These are a blast! They have the weird, unexplainable feeling of real snowballs. Can a person even explain that, without using the concept cold? These aren't cold, btw, just everything else "snowballish". We loved pummeling each other as a family. Even our 20 year old and her friends joined in when she just happened to drop in on her way through town during one of our impromptu snowball fights. These are a must for every household. Year round fun!

Oh my goodness these were soooooo much fun. I have not washed them yet as some other buyers have mentioned. When I do I will put them in a laundry bag. These are soft enough to be able to hurl them right at your target without any complaints but they are a nice weight so that they fly a good distance when thrown. We were able to launch them all the way across the living room and down the hallway. A definite must when you live in a place that doesn't get much snow. These have been a hit whenever we pull them out.

I am just reviewing this from last years purchase, but hands down this was one of the most favorite gifts. I got it for my niece and nephew and let them open early on Christmas Eve - before you knew it, we were all playing - even grandpa, great grandpa and the dog! It's absolutely true in the reviews by others that it invokes the child within us all. It's now packed away for next year, but I have no doubt it will be enjoyed time and time again.

My three-year-old grandson opened these last of the presents at his birthday party. The whole family joined in a massive inside snowball fight. My grandson ran around, laughing loudly as he hit people with snowballs and was hit by snowballs. I am glad I bought the larger quantity of snowballs as there were plenty of them to go around. Of all of his presents, I think he liked these the best. I highly recommend these, as they are really fun. No one got hurt and neither did anything else.
