I love this robe. Soft fleece on the inside, Wookie fur on the outside. Here are some better details:

The build: fleece body, smooth fleece on the inside, fur fleece on the exterior. The 'chest belt' or strap is thin nylon sewn to the fleece. On the inside the belt has a strange backing, like you see on the inside of cheap baseball caps. This backing only touches you on the inside on your left shoulder. The furry fur from the outside is folded over about 5" to cover the portion of the chest belt that would otherwise touch you chest. Huge plus for the extra coverage b/c the backing material would be annoying against your chest. The flap on the inside is sewn so it does not move about, another great feature. Overall I would give the construction and materials a 4 stars. I wish the hood was super deep, it is adequate to cover your head if your a big guy but I would love it to come out past my head so I could hide my face from the morning cold as I step outside for a death stick (ciggi).

The fit: I am 6'3" w/ a 40" waist and a 46" chest and weigh 275lbs. The robe is big enough to overlap my chest by 4 inches on each side. The arms fall about 5" above the wrist. This is good for this robe, because of the thick fabric if it fell past the writs it would get in the way of everything and in your coffee. The length is good hitting the legs about 4 inches above the knee. It won't cover the 'goods' super well when you are sitting but let's face it your probably not purchasing this because your worried about presenting a decent image. I think if you were a little or a lot smaller than I am the robe would be like being wrapped in a warm Wookie hug, everyone knows that's good unless your being crushed. The chest closure tends to slide apart because of the nylon belt. If your a gal worried about cleavage slip, or a gal wanting some cleavage slip this might be a factor.

Overall I love this robe, I've been living out of it for the past 3 weeks. Everyone who sees it says it looks great and it is great for a laugh. I am going to mod if with a full zipper so I can wear it to costume parties. A+ garment totally justifiable at $60.

I was apprehensive due to reports of size/quality discrepancies with other Star Wars robes. I can now say it's worth the higher pricetag. I had narrowed it down to Chewbacca or Boba Fett from Robe Factory. I'm more a Boba Fett fan than a Chewie fan. But the Chewie robe makes a better robe, IMO. Boba Fett, though cool, seemed to have too many sewn-on panels of fabric. The Chewie robe only has the bandolier sewn on, so most of the interior is more uniform and comfortable due to fewer seams.

Fears allayed:

Size--perfect for my 6'1" frame. Sleeves actually come down past my wrist while standing. The robe goes down to mid-calf on me--which is nice so it doesn't pick up any nastiness from the floor.

Quality--I've already washed it 3x in 3 months with no color fade and no loose threads. The oversized pouch on the outside is great for carrying your shower wares.

Added bonus:

I wore this to the (community) restroom early one morning with the hood up. As I was standing doing my thing with my back to the entrance, another guy came in and gasped/cursed because he thought there was an actual wookiee at the urinal. It was a proud day!

Used it as a Costume, but Wear It Everyday

I am 6'2", 230lbs. This thing fits very well and does not feel small at all. I imagine if I had another 20-30lbs on me it might feel a bit small, but fairly certain this thing will fit most men.

It is incredibly comfortable and warm. I wear it most days when I first wake up and if I'm lounging around the house. There is a massive pocket on the front which is surprisingly useful.

My g/f originally bought me this robe for a Chewbacca costume. It was kind of lazy, but looked better than any chewbacca costume you could do for <$100. The fact that I use it all the time made it a very good buy.

The only warning I will give is that the sleeves are very baggy. Mostly this makes the robe even more comfy, but I would not recommend trying to cook, use a sink, or do anything you wouldn't want to drag the sleeves through.

Incredible, best Christmas present ever. Great workmanship. I'm a 5'4" gal, it's stupid cozy, with good overlap, hanging nearly to my ankles. I wanted it big. Now I live in it. My husband is 6'3", it hits at his knees, and mostly closes over his 52" waist. Lined nicely. Great hood, it could probably be turned inside out for a brown Jedi robe in a pinch. One thing though; it creates some static, so it may cause you to shock your cat more often.

I usually prefer my robes a little bit thicker, but, honestly, this piece of fabric is made of some good stuff for what you pay for. It's very warm and the hood will perfect for the winters in Michigan. I received plenty of compliments at a Star Wars trivia event at work just by wearing it, so ... stylish points too, I guess.

I love it.

I've gotten so many compliments from wearing this from pizza delivery guys/girls and my neighbors whenever I grab the mail wearing this.

This robe also keeps you warm. One time I was wearing this outside to put the trash out and it was -20F and I did not feel cold at all. I was only wearing my underwear underneath this robe.

Cons: my wife calls me a nerd from time to time.

Its wonderful and roomy! Love it! The sleeves are huge, but who gets a robe for a tight fit anyway? Or a Chewbacca robe for serious reasons...

Love this robe, tell everyone I know about it and its a very nice quality. Its fleece-lined as well, with a very spacious single pocket. Its a no-brainer for ANY Star Wars fan, unless you've gone to the dark side...

Very realistic robe. Excellent fit. It's good quality which makes it heavy--if you consider that a negative, then it's a negative. I'd rather have a good quality rove than a cheap one that might not be as heavy.

I bought this thinking it would be a fun bathrobe to use once in a while. As it turned out, I use it almost everyday because of how ridiculously comfortable it is! I love cranking on the AC and watching tv while this robe keeps me warm lol. It fits nicely and I'm a larger individual. Thinking I might have to get a second one cause me and my girlfriend always want to wear it while being lazy at home.

Super warm and comfy! Nicely priced. Wish it had a second pocket. Probably would be a bit small on taller folks (I'm only 5'6").
