Not recommended if you actually want to use it

I installed a lot of these in my house when I remodeled and I totally regret it. They look great when you aren't using them. But as soon as you need to use the outlets, you'll regret buying this. Only a minimal plug head will fit, if you are trying to plug in anything larger than that, such as an adapter plug, it is impossible. Let me reiterate, the vast majority of things you will want to plug in *will not fit* here. There is very little clearance between the plate and the outlet holes.

If you want to put these in an area where you will never need to use them, they look very nice and modern. But when the time to use them comes, you'll want to pull your hair out. And pull the outlet out of your wall.

I am giving this three stars because if you never plan to use it, this is a 5 star product for you. If you actually want to use it, this is a one star or two star product. So on balance it is worthy of three stars.

Made in China, but works fine

Minus one for being made in China. We invented the outlet; we can manufacture it, especially for the $43 price tag. Beyond this, it's a neat solution for your highly-visible, rarely-used outlets. It's plenty easy to install as long as you have deep boxes.

Cool design but cannot be combined with other outlets or switches in multi-gang applications. This was not clear on the listing or on Pass & Seymour's website.

Love these pop outs. Backsplash doesn't have unsightly outlets. Re-did my entire kitchen with them.
