It is illegal in all states to drive with your handicap tag hanging from the rearview mirror, but it is not easy to hang and remove the placard as required by law. Mirortag is designed to protect and preserve your tag. It allows you to easily display and put away your handicap parking placard. Simply insert your tag into the plastic holder, place the hook on rearview mirror once. When parked, move plastic holder close to hook and the 2 magnets will snap together to hold the placard. Before your drive, simply pull down the plastic holder to unlatch it from the hook. MirorTag has super strong magnets that keep the placard and hook held together. Unlike all flimsy sheaths, its sturdy plastic frame is sun & cold-resistant, protecting your placard from cracks, tears and creases. This MirorTag Gold Plus is designed long enough to fit NC and NJ placards and similar sizes up to 10 3/4" long. Extra hooks can be purchased separately for multiple cars. WARNING: rearview mirror built-in compass operation may be affected by the magnet in some car models. Tag size accepted: 10.75" long, 3.625" wide (10 3/4" by 3 5/8"). This protects your handicap tag totally encased in the plastic. And with the magnetic clip that has one part that stays attached to mirror you can remove it or mount it in seconds. It's illegal in most every state to drive with them hanging and also there are times when you may need to change cars or take it down so it don't get stolen. After over a year tag is still in brand new condition.

What can I say but that this is sturdy and handy!! Yes it was expensive but it works. My biggest worry was that the holder on the rear view mirror would clack it make noise as I drive when the permit is not attached. However, surprisingly it doesn't. The quick on and off is amazing too. I hope it lasts but I will try to come back here and provide everyone with a longer term report.

This was exactly what I was looking for and quality unlike many things these days is phenomenal! I only wish I could've afforded two of these (another one for my permit in a second vehicle which is allowed in my state).

This holder was a little bit more expensive then some of the other holders, but the magnet makes hanging it up and taking it down a breeze. All you have to do is place your placard close to your mirror, and the magnet grabs it and you are done. To remove it just pull down and put it away. There is no need to try and hook it on the mirror. Definitely a recommend.

The MirorTag Gold Plus is a great way to hold and display your Handicap Parking Hanging Tag.

The clip with a powerful magnet makes it easy to mount and remove your hanging tag.

The holder is large and fits GA and NC tag just fine. My wife's hanging tag was falling apart, this is a great solution.

But I took off one star for two reasons. One, The holder is heavy, too heavy and may be a problem for some. Two, it needs to come with two magnetic clips, one to hang on the mirror and one to hang somewhere else to clip when you are driving.

I live in NC with the longer placard and this is plenty long for it. It's hard plastic, which I like so it doesn't bend or risk melting. It snaps on and off the magnet very easier so I can take it on and off with ease. Seems well made, I'm not concerned that it will break or anything.

This is a hard plastic cover for the NC Handicapped tag. I thought it was kind of expensive, but when I received it, I understand the cost, and it is a very nice cover, and works really well. Easy to put on and take off your mirror with the magnet/hook. I needed something to keep my paper tag from getting torn, and these work great for our two cars.

It's great except the handycap sign keeps falling out either side of this product. Needs to be made tighter or come with some sort of guard to keep signs from falling out. other than that it's great, long enough, clear enough, and magnets make easy transfers. I bought extra magnet hangers ( in chain style.)

I thought they were all the same size. I ordered one that didn't fit before I did a little research to find out
