Stainless Steel Grill Clips

Product Description

Charcoal Companion's Stainless Grill Clips make it easy to grill individual portions of vegetables. The set of four can accommodate the different tastes within your family or at a social gathering. The durable clips are ideal for grilling bunches of asparagus, zucchini sticks, green onions, or any other long vegetables. Just line up your "vegetable rafts", clip them and grill them.

HOW TO USE: Clamp vegetables in the stainless clip, then cook directly on the grill until the vegetables are cooked through.
CARE: Hand wash with a mild dishwashing soap, rinse, and dry immediately. Do not use abrasive scrubbers. May also be washed safely in a dishwasher.
CAUTION: Metal will become extremely hot on the grill. Take care not to burn yourself. Do not place fingers in the jaws of the clamps.
PLEASE NOTE: This product may arrive in either green or red cardboard packaging. The product itself is exactly the same no matter the color of packaging.

OK, these were a big disappointment. They were very heavy and destroyed the food clamped in its teeth. We tried them on the grill a few times, and each time was a disaster. They might be fine for grilling things like ears of corn or a steak or something of substance, but these did not work for veggies.

They work great. It may feel like you can't clip a whole row, but you just need to push a little on the end. These are INSANELY hard to clean. I grilled asparagus with them last week, spent a little time each day since then trying to get them clean. I threw them away this morning.

Make sure you cut your food in the exact same sizes!

Nice idea, but unless the sizes are EXACTLY the same, the food slips out. For hard foods, such as carrots, the clamps can't grip the food. Really defeats the purpose. On the up side, they seem easy to clean, but I doubt I'll use them again. I just dumped the vegetables in heavy duty tin foil which did a better job than these clips.

Very heavy duty clips for the barbie. Seem to work well. Only draw back is they might be so strong that they smash or break fragile veggies. Make flipping veggies much easier than flipping one at time and risk dropping them into the coals.

2 out of 4 came with the teeth not lined up so they are crooked to the side. Otherwise it's fine, grilled some asparagus on it and it is indeed pretty neat.
