A few days ago, I heard a "SnaP" in my lower back ... maybe I felt it. Pain followed and stayed with me ... intensifying daily.

Based on reviews, I ordered this yesterday. About an hour ago, I hobbled over to my front door to receive this item.

Unpacked. Plugged-in and placed on my home office chair by my lower back.

Ran through the first cycle and Oh My! It felt amazing.

Got up from my chair after it was done. In getting up, and for the first time in days, the sharp pain wasn't there.

I walked around and rested for about 30 minutes and just started the massager again for another cycle.

For the price point and for what it does ... this is great. I just ordered another to use at work.

Bad power supply, won't turn on

Seemed like a good product other then the fact that it doesn't work. It only works when I hook up an external battery of mine to it instead of the power supply that plugs into the wall that came with it. When I asked about it they said I could return it only if it hadn't been used otherwise I wouldn't be refunded, which I used it with my battery pack. Also being on the road 3 weeks out of the month for work I don't really have the time to bring it in and return it. So I asked for a replacement power supply, which would solve the problem but they said they don't do replacement parts. If I were someone looking to buy a massager and reading this review I would go with a different brand that will actually work the way it should.

I bought this massager mainly for travel. I have had occasional problems with extremely tight and sore lower back muscles and it hits with no warning and can last for days or even weeks. When a flare up occurs I can barely stand to drive 1-2 hours in my car. This was the case just before I departed on a long trip to attend a family member's wedding. With this massager plugged into my car's power port I was able to drive 26 hours over two days to see family on the East Coast. I used it during the first hour or so of travel and then every 4-5 hours thereafter for 5-10 minutes. This massager does a fantastic job kneeding out those knots. On the way back I only used it once as my muscles didn't tighten up at all. It did a great job eliminating the tightness. I was even able to work out every day in the hotel gyms.

I really liked that it runs on both 12V in the car and then a long extension cord for hotels. It's not so big that it can't fit into a small carry-on suitcase when airline travel is required. I can't wait to try this thing out on a plane - assuming power is available.

I have also used it in bed after a tough workout. The heat really works well.

One note about using this in your car - it's pretty thick so when I used it on my lower back I adjusted the lumber support all the way to its lowest setting to give this massager room. Even then I had to use a small flat pillow (chair cushion would work perfectly) behind my upper back to even things out and give me a flat surface to lean back against. Otherwise you'd have to arch your back over the massager and that gets uncomfortable very quickly.

So far I've used it for about 5 hours of cumulative time and it seems to be well built.

Every once in a while I buy an item that I'm really impressed with and this is one of those times. I'm buying a second for my office chair at work. 5 stars!

I recently received the massager but decided to wait and use it for a while before writing this review. I, like many who order from Amazon, have come to rely on the reviews to make our purchase decisions. That is why I had to write a review about this amazing product.

First- it works... and it works incredibly well. Its size, its shape, its profile, all contribute to it being well-suited to target specific problem areas of the body. It can be placed in so many positions, it can reach even the harder to reach places like the back of the neck or the lower back area. I discovered some nasty knots at the back of my thigh; I slide it under my leg while sitting or reclining and rest my leg across it - sometimes putting a little pressure on it to get it to knead a little deeper into the lumpy knots!

I hurt my back over a year ago and have been struggling with back pain and sciatica for about 12 months now. In addition to this, I also have muscle knots - back, neck, shoulders, and legs - which I recently discovered I had. I started using this massager for 30 minutes a day to 2 hours a day, kneading those muscle knot areas. And I'm happy to say I'm finally starting to feel results.

A friend of mine recently had surgery for similar problems. I was beginning to think I was heading for the same, until this massager. Now, not EVEN considering surgery...thankfully.

if you are uncertain about ordering it, don't be. Worth every penny...and more!

Worked great for over two years

My pillow pooped out after 2 years. I use it in the car probably 2-3 hours per week on average, so I'd imaging that's fairly heavy use. Other pillows I've bought in the past only last 4-6 months under similar or even lighter use. I'm very happy with this pillow. To use in the car, I have a yoga block and a hard foam lumbar support pillow that I place behind my back, where I put with this massage pillow flat against the back of the car seat. Every ~10 minutes I move the massage pillow up a few inches till I've reached the top of my neck, re-sorting the yoga block and lumbar pillow accordingly. This allows for the massage balls to not be the only points supporting my back. I have a long commute and this has helped make my back problems manageable.

The Best No Doubt!

I bought one of these massagers for my mom as a Mother's Day gift, because my mother works standing up the whole day she suffers from leg pain when she gets home. This massager has completely changed her life. Once she gets home she plugs it in and puts the massager underneath her legs and she says it soothes her leg pain until she feels no pain. When the timer goes off (20 mins), she can walk like a new person again. She loves this massager, and she even said it's one of the best presents I've EVER given to her. I couldn't be happier! I even went and bought one for myself, and I use it in my car on my way home from work. So convenient it comes with a cigarette lighter connector to plug it in my car. Once I get home I take it out and my wife uses it on our bed. Excellent product. Customer service is outstanding! I would even say Zyllion has one of the best customer services in Amazon! Totally recommend this product!

As soon as the Zyllion Shiatsu back/neck massager arrived, I opened it, read the instructions, clicked the cord into place and placed it on my lower back for one incredible massage. At 5'11" tall, and 140 lbs., my L4 & L5 have always been a bit troublesome regardless of how much I exercise to keep my abs strong (which help lower back issues.) The SHIATSU aspect of this massager is incredible. I rank it up there with a bamboo deep tissue massage which also incorporates deep tissue heat. This is the perfect size with the perfect amount of heat (perfect temperature-close to a hot stone massage but you don't lose the heat!) & I have used it every single day since its arrival. I really like the multi-rotational directions of the Shiatsu balls-clockwise for a bit, then counterclockwise for the 20 minute session. If you have lower or upper back issues-your feet are sore or tired-hands are tight-neck in a bind-biceps cramping after a workout- calves tired after walking too much-tight hamstrings?...just add this to your cart now. Easy to use

This is easily one of my favorite purchases in a very long time. I've spent soooooo much money on massages as I try to come back from fibromyalgia and a number of other issues, by starting out in ballroom dancing. Problem is I was too tight to start out in any kind of exercise. This little jewel has helped so much with the attachment point knots all you fibro people will recognize, as well as the varicose veins, the other assorted knots and the myofascial tightness problems. I also have been having problems with charlie horses in my calves and adductors at night, but I just use this little guy in the evenings wherever I feel the telltale trembling in my muscles, moving it around from trouble spot to trouble spot, and voila! No more charlie horses vaulting me out of sleep in the middle of the night. I really, really love this thing. I use it on my hips, calves, knees, quads, traps, rhomboids, biceps, pretty much everywhere I have a sore attachment point. It really works. You just have to be careful to have cloth of some kind between you and the massager, because I can tell you from experience that you CAN wear your skin off a little if you leave it on your bare skin too long. It just feels that good. I just leave a sheet or nightgown or something between it and my skin and I'm fine. I always use the heat setting, but you can use it without heat as well.

Okay, this many be getting out of hand! I purchased a second one for my wife last week. (Very smart thing to do.) Today, she just asked me to buy two more, one for her daughter and her sister. I just placed the order.

I'm using mine three of four 20 minute sessions a day. It continues to work great.

All of the massagers are going strong. As I type this, my massager is working on my L4-L5. I must admit at times if feels so good that I tend to drift away from what I was supposed to do. My wife complained about not being able to get to sleep last night and finally got up a bit after midnight for a massage with hers. I blissfully slept thought it all. These little devices are an important part of our lives. Mine has put up with a great deal of use and it keeps on doing it's thing as long as I don't try to do too many sessions in a row. This is a real winner!

My first unit, the one that I use several times *every* day is starting to develop some holes in the mesh portion of the cover. I've sent off an email to Zyllion Customer Support via a reply to an email I received through Amazon after I registered for the one year warrantee. Other than these holes in my overly-used unit, all four of the massagers I have purchased this Spring are working as expected and the one that I put through a daily stress-test continues to be an important part of my daily routine. I remain a thankful fan of Zyllion's massager.

I sent an email to Zyllion of the 28th explaining about the growing hole in the mesh. On the 29th, I receive a very nice acknowledgment of my request and a request to verify my address. I replied on the 29th, a Sunday, that the address was correct. I received an nice email on the 30th that my replacement cover was on the way and it arrived today. It took me less than five minutes to get the old one off and the new one on and it works perfectly. Again, wow! Why can't all companies be like this?

I purchased my first Zyllion on 5/24/2014. My little friend of many years died tonight, 10/13/2018.

This wonderful little gadget came to my aid multiple times a day, and never complained. I sat on it, dropped it, lay across it, stood on it - virtually lived on that thing. It's been my go-to pal when I was sore from surgery, from work, from a long day in the yard. Got one for my mom and brother I loved it so much.

I have severe arthritis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, joint pain, tight calves, a replaced hip and shoulder. This modest little piece of equipment is phenomenal for loosening tight muscles and relieving pain.

Tonight, my first Zyllion - my loyal campadre - finally gave up the ghost. He went all red, but the massage balls refused to move, even after letting the motor cool. I knew he was trying, straining to help me one last time...but it was no use. I had to place an order for his successor. But I will mourn my tough little Zyllion, who battled my pain tirelessly and without reproach for so many years.

These guys are top notch, reliable little beasts. They should be distributed to everyone over 30. I think if used by enough people, they could end wars, mend marriages, and save humanity from itself.
