Can't say I was surprised.

I bought this because moving is stressful and it's cheaper than a guest bed. It's not a guest bed, but that's okay because now I have a giant totoro.

Pros: It's a giant totoro that you can sleep on.

Cons: I'm not sure I was sent the correct size - it's about the size of a twin bed. The "detachable tail" is a piece of fabric stuffed with bits of cotton that doesn't attach to begin with. It was packaged in a heavy duty plastic bag with a torn up tarp wrapped around it. Not sure what that's about but I suspect it was a return.

Other thoughts: I'm a full grown adult with a giant stuffed totoro for a guest bed and I just have to live with that.

BEST THING EVER.

No, it's not super stuffed with foam. Yes, it's for kids. If you're buying this as an adult, you should put a mattress topper inside of it.

If you're an adult and whining about how thin it is, shame on you. This thing is for kids. Built for kids. If you want it to be made for adults, like WE did, then buy a memory foam mattress topper and jam it inside.

This thing is like the main attraction of our 'chill out' room. So comfortable, seats so many people.

I expected it to be a bit smaller than expected but its way smaller than the photos.I still love it though! I fit on it perfectly from head to toe, im 5'6" and the pocket you slip into only fits up to the bottom of my ribs. It came in a very small package (basically the size of a normal pillow in length) and it came pre-stuffed. It came with two pillows (the tail and a totoro mini pillow). All in All its great but do expect to stuff it more because its not very stuffed. i didnt have anything fancy laying around like memory-foam, so i use two pillow in the top (the face area) and two thick blankets in the body. I really do love this item though it goes perfect with my anime room!!!

I Absolutely Love this. This one from this seller is better than I expected. My daughter absolutely loves it. Absolutely NOT made cheaply. Now my other daughter wants to buy one for my granddaughter. It's huge and comfy and no need to add more stuffing although we thought we were gonna have to with some reviews. Also it has a zipper if you do wanna add stuffing or remove it to clean it. Absolutely 100 % Completely Satisfied and A Very Happy Birthday Girl who turned 10!

My son loves this bed. When it starts to flatten you can just go to the store and add more stuffing ....it doesn't take much. The cover is washable and easy to remove. It is very comfortable and cozy.

It is super cute! Got it for my sister's kids (9 and 7) for Christmas and they just loved it! The only thing is that it was shipped all compressed like a giant garbage ball so not very nice presentation as a gift (I ended up re-packing it myself in a big computer box).
