Great Costume for Halloween

I ordered this costume for my ten year. We were having a hard time finding costumes she wanted because she is getting to old for the child sizes but not quite into adult sizes. So glad I came upon tween sizes and she picked the Steampunk. She is about 4'10" and 90 or so pounds and the tween large fit well. As with most Halloween costumes in this price point the quality is just okay, but the costume is adorable. The hat is kinda cheap looking so we bought a separate hat. I also got her the black crinoline petticoat. I love this costume!

Adorable but...

The costume is adorable!! And if anyone is wondering, it looks appropriate for a 10 year old. Ordered the Large - roomy but not too big and it goes to her knees with a petticoat. Definitely needs a petticoat. But the condition and missing parts makes me give it a low review. One of the glovelettes was separated at the seams, the goggle strap was broken, and it's missing the scarf that goes around the hat. I was able to sew it but it's disappointing to have to do that. Couldn't find a way to contact Amazon for the missing part - seemed like the only option would be to return & reorder. It is too late to exchange it for a different one in time for Halloween. It is really cute though! Maybe if you order it allow enough time to return if need be.

Cute costume, some flaws.

This was a very cute costume that looked fantastic on my 11 year old daughter. It came with several accessories (hat, goggles, gloves) and was a pretty good value.

The reason it only gets 4 stars is that we received two of the same glove, and inside the shoulders the mesh used to keep them puffy-looking was very sharp, scratchy and uncomfortable. She wore a thin black under layer which was the only reason it was wearable. I would have had to sew in some kind of barrier otherwise.

Halloween Costume

Bought this costume for my daughter for Halloween and she absolutely loves it! I bought a large (10-12 yrs) and was a little nervous about it being too big since my daughter is petite but it fits great! As the other reviewers have mentioned, it does need a petticoat under to help it poof out.

Costume arrived fast and everything in great condition, very pleased!!

Horrendous quality

Horrendous quality, you expect these costumes to not be of great quality but this one is even lower then the lowest of expectations.
1.Costume does not include the black underskirt shown in the photographs and the skirt falls completely flat.
2. The hat does not stay up , it folds down
3. Everything looks plastic and material extremely cheap
4.The costume is super itchy in the shoulder area and actually scratched my daughter's skin

Usually for the amount of money this costume is being sold for you can get a really nice costume. Definitely not worth the money , I don't think I would even buy this in a dollar store. Returning

Big bang for the buck!

We loved this costume! It worked so well!! She ended up wearing it for a dance recital, going to a Halloween event at Cedar point, trick or treating event at the nursing home and actual trick or treat. It was comfortable and appropriate for all of it.

Great costume but too short

I ordered this costume for my first Steampunk Worlds Fair and it arrived intact with everything described. However, I am 5'2 and the only problem I had was the length - it was way too short for my height. I thought it covered the bare necessities, however, don't bend over without having any shorts underneath. Thank goodness, I had backup outfits. Other than that minor issue I liked it.It arrived on time but too short for me, personally.

Made if itchy material. My daughter was not able to wear this costume for Halloween as a result. I do not recomend this product. The top hat is not stiff and rigid like a top hat should be. Made of some foamy material. The costume is made of real cheap material.

Bad quality

If I could give this a MINUS TEN rating I would. I bought this for my grand daughter. When it arrived I could tell it was USED because it came in a makeshift plastic bag. My grand daughter still wanted to try it on.. So upon trying it on my grand daughter found an OLD, SMELLY GYM SOCK inside the sleeve. There is no way will I let her wear something so unsanitary !!!

Lots of compliments

My daughter received lots of compliments on her costume when out trick-or-treating; she loved it! The dress is on the larger size so I added a clasp on the back so we could cinch it up. I tend to buy for the length, but my daughter is thin so the proportions were off for her.
