I recently learned about charcoal cleansing and wanted to add a face/body soap to my collection of goodies. Initially, I was drawen to this soap because unlike many other charcoal soaps, this one was cold-pressed, organic and chemical free. Upon receiving it, I have to admit I was a little taken back my the scent because I felt like it was a bit strong, but I decided to give it a try anyhow. While using it in the shower, I did not notice any amazing differences. However, after I got out and dried off is when I fell in love! Honestly, I felt my skin was not only clean, but light, refreshed, and silky soft! To top it all off, the "scent"I was initially conserned with was not there.... Hands down this is my new favorite soap! I even have my husband and kids using it.

Detoxifying Soap

I have acne and I've been using this soap hoping that it will unclog my pores and clear up my acne. Well I like the texture it feels nice it doesn't leave my face dry, it leaves it nice and soft. My pores are still clogged, I'm not sure about the acne part because I'm using Skin Obsession 10% glycolic toner and Acne Stop with Ethyl alcohol, salicylic acid and lactic acid, I switch between them because they dry your skin out. But I still like the soap.

Love this stuff. I have struggled with acne on and off. First as teen and now as mid menopausal. Works better than anything I've tried. Now my daughter is using it and it has made a tremendous difference in her skin as well.

I was looking for a clean, chemical-free soap and this one is fantastic. It's black but don't worry about it dying your skin in the shower.

Mine arrived freshly cut, so it needed another week or so to cure. I gave it an extra two weeks, and it's not breaking down in the shower any more than a regular bar of soap. It smells so fresh -- like yummy grapefruit. Rinses well, and definitely leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed.
