Weird machine (Update)

Looks like I struck out again! My neck pain has reached the point where I am open to any & all "miracles". As I have only used this 1 time since getting it yesterday, I'm no expert, but I can say it has its drawbacks. It seems to have a mind of its own, and the vibration it creates can in no way be called "Therapy". I find the major problem is the battery. I charged it 4 hours when it arrived, and used it for 10 minutes. I then put it back on charge, and at this moment, it has been charging for almost 2 hours and still charging! So, it appears that for every 1 minute of use, it requires over 10 minutes of charge! I'll keep it and give it a fair trial, for I am in no shape to ignore any possible aid, but at this time, I'm not impressed.(Third day update} As I could find no info pertaining to using the unit while plugged in, I tried it anyway. I thought I had solved the problem of dead batteries, but at this moment, it is almost 3 and a half hours on charge, indicating it will only work on battery! It still insists on doing what it feels like doing, and got so hot I had to pull it away from my neck. It vibrates like a Harley, which

makes my head very uncomfortable. All in all, not a good purchase, and I would return it, but Amazon is about to begin a policy of dropping one from Prime shipping if they return too many items. So I'll just live with it and chalk it up to a "Gotcha"! I take my 2 stars down to one, and that's all I have to say about this unit.(Update) 7/11/16 I just purchased another of these, as a friend liked it and I lost it to him! I had gotten the thing to function fine, and as it was my only help for severe cervical disc disease, I bought another one. This one looks identical, but it is different in one annoying way. It pulses like a tens unit, and I do not care for that at all! The other one did not do that, and this one refuses to not do it! So, instead of a better rating, I give it 3 stars. If you do not mind the electric pulsing, you will no doubt feel better than I about this machine, for I like it otherwise.

WORTH TRYING

I had neck muscle spasm for the last 4 years, did use hot pads, went through physiotherapy sessions but only temporary relief ,Desperately looking for something which can be used at home without visiting doctors . The problem was, spasm and pain use to cured temporarily and came back again due to my regular use of computer,bad posture while sleeping and long drive every day. It was so bad most of the nights I was not been able to sleep on either side only straight. Two weeks ago I got this product and started using. unbelievable results. Now i can recommend it to all the people who are suffering from neck spasm due to driving, computer usage,bad posture, Air travel and other occupational hazards, to try this. I had gone through the pain and just wanted to spread the word to help others.Worth buying and worth using.Excellent stuff at very reasonable price.This product is cheaper than one week physiotherapy cost.

I work all day at a computer and have had neck to finger tip pains and aches for years. I do lots of things to prevent or keep these pains at bay, but every now and then I get a flare-up. During my last one, I purchased this and bought a new mouse. This works on my neck when nothing else seems to. I do not take pain medication and very seldom take advil or similar product and believe surgery too, would be the very last resort. I have used this for about six weeks. It was a blessing initially. Now I use it perhaps 4 or five times a week as a preventative. It tends to be the tens type therapy that I use and I keep it at a comfortable level, which would be option 3 at about a level 3 with heat off or on low. The bottom indicator is for heat level (O for off, L for low and H for high).

Worthless due to battery life.

Totally worthless. The battery last for less than 20 minutes and is therefore useless away from a power supply. It won't work while it is charging and gives no indication as to the charge level. We've replaced this item twice. None of the units performed any differently. Otherwise it's easily a five star.

The remote control is IMPOSSIBLE to use for certain claimed functionality of the neck massager. I have read the instructions dozens of times, including every time I have turned the unit on, and the instructions are simply inadequate, or the massager will not perform all of its advertised functions. Think twice before buying this unit. Even turning it on and getting it to vibrate is a challenge.

Reduces pain

It has helped me sleep. My neck was so stiff and I often had headaches. It's easy to wear while reading, cooking, or watching TV. No cords to tie you to a wall outlet. The electrical impulse surprised me and gave a bit of a twinge. It doesn't hurt, it's just that you don't expect the shock. I can even turn my head better just after a few days.

Neck Pain Miracle

This is nice - I just received it and charged it up for the first time. It works as many different types of pain relief. I am familiar with TENS units that use muscle contraction to relieve pain. This vibrates, pulses, heats, and much more! I am in love at first sight! I love that it is wireless and you can just charge it up in 3 hours. I can wear this at work, car, home. The only draw back is that the box did not come with explanations of the modes so you have to just keep trying different ones to find the ones that you like best.Highly recommended to anyone with chronic neck pain!

Bad product, you need to put it on charge all the time, then it works for around 5 min only before the battery end, if you full the battery and put it on off the battery will discharge after 5 hours very bad battery quality .

Great product. It is almost the same as the treatment devices on the hosspitall. I used it for about 3 weeks and I am doing well now.
