(This is a review for the anti-barking birdhouse: the reviews listed with the product seem a bit scrambled. And sorry for the sideways video.)

I realize that some people feel this sort of device is cruel to dogs, but I happen to think it's cruel to your neighbors to allow your dogs to bark all night. Did I mention my neighbor has 3 Chihuahuas (!!)? One of them will bark if it hears a gnat break wind in Australia. We're desperate.

We've tried similar things before and they work for a while until either the dogs adjust or the device fails due to extreme weather conditions. So far, this is working well. We only turn it on at night (after 9:00 PM) and I've yet to hear the dogs at 2:00 AM.

We're happy and feeling well-rested.

Follow up: The birdhouse has been doing its thing now for several weeks. The dogs are still barking, only now they're mostly doing it inside where their owners can appreciate it. All. The. Time. I'd give this thing 5 more stars if I could. As for now, I can only bump it from 4 to 5.

Stop Barking

I have five dogs that like to bark a lot when they are in the back yard. I got this and when they barked the first time they were like "what the heck!?!" and stopped barking. Once they figured out that when they barked, they did not like the noise they heard in return (silent to the human ear), they now stop barking when they see it in the back yard. We do not even have batteries in this anymore and they still do not bark. I feel it is a more humane way to stop the constant barking versus the shock collars or spray.

The challenge is accepted and the mission is 100% successful. At the first sound, our handsome rooster alfy stopped barking.I'm glad I did. It was as if the device had been turned on and there was an instant silence. In fact, I was a little worried that the dogs were dead -- they were alive and well, but nothing had happened since we turned them on! Great product and better than expected!!Also works great on my 65 lb black lab. He barked 3 times, looked around, once more, then hasn't done it (outside) since. Had it about 4 days now. Very nice.

Surprisingly, this Ultrasonic Emitter Seems to Work...

I wasn't sure about this when I ordered it. As a former welding inspector, certified in ultrasonic testing, I understood the theory quite well. Still, it might be difficult to determine whether or not it actually works. Therefore, I decided to test it in my home, even though it is designed for use outdoors.

When Cody was barking on Candy, one of my cats, Cody seemed to notice SOMETHING, but appeared to not be convinced the cause of that SOMETHING was his repetitious and bothersome barking.

Then, I brought Daisy, my border collie, indoors. The Yorkie, Cody, exercised his lungs on Daisy for just three barks. Then jerked his head quizzically, then let loose with another series of irksome yelps. Again, he jerked quizzically. Ever determined, he again yelped, but only twice, then decided his barking might be causing an unwelcome interference.

Mind you, he did again let loose a brief barrage directed at Rocky, the orange tabby, so it is not yet certain that he has graduated his class with honors. Still, there is cause for optimism...

There's a dog next door that has been losing its' mind all day long for days and the owners don't care. My work schedule has me sleep while it's still daylight out, and it's been driving me crazy.

Shortly after I received this, the dog stopped, so I haven't used it. Hopefully I never will.

Ends all barking

I strategically place this anti-barking device to help a neighbor's dog from barking so much at night. She has a medium-sized dog that they let out on their porch at night that constantly bark. Since installing this, the barking has noticeably decreased but has not completely stopped. I will up the settings to test if it will improve.

The device feels tacky and cheap but I hope it will last at least a year. It uses a single 9V battery.

I like the idea of noninvasive techniques such as ultrasonic sound to control your pets. This is better than shock therapy or shouting back at the dog which in most cases results in even more barking. Even better option as there is no need to shout back at your neighbors dog to keep it making little or no noise.

Sometimes neighbors oblige (If you have good neighbors) sometimes they ignore you and this especially becomes problem when you want to enjoy your backyard without being disturbed or interrupted and the pesky little dog starts barking and ruining your day. The barking Dog has been a major problem in modern cities and it is high time someone invented this type of technology to deter dogs from barking all night for no apparent reason.

I am pleased to let you know that this device is perfect for such applications. Just keep it turned on and let the device do it's magic. Each time the dog barks the sensitive microphone inside automatically energizes the ultrasonic circuity, then the Anti Barking Device sends ultra-high pitch sound to the dog which deters the dog from barking as it starts to associate its barking with ultrasonic reply from the device. Essentially, the device does all the shouting for you but without anyone hearing you other than the Dog that barks.

For best results make sure the device is in proximity where the dog barks. The inconspicuous look of a bird house makes it easy to hide from your neighbors. Although the bright Green LED kinda gives it away. Not a big deal as it can be covered easily with a black electrical tape. This is very low power consumption device when in stand-by and must last few months easily. But if you have a deaf dog that barks then you will find your battery depleted sooner as more barks detected by the device turns on the ultrasonic circuitry thereby consuming battery faster. It uses 9V battery which is not included.

Overall, I think this is ideal for keeping your pets silent and not resorting into inhuman ways of treating them which we humans should learn never to do.

Bad neighbors pitbull

Was skeptical but relatively satisfied with results. Took care of annoying pitbull neighbor owner thinks is ok to bark at us all hours of the day/night. He still will bark once or twice but then decides it's not fun.

*This review is for the 500mg not the 1000mg.* Seems to be helping to control his seizures. Still on his prescription meds but he is taking less now that he is taking the 500mg. On 2/23/19 I received the 1000mg bottle, which I ordered thinking it was exactly the same as the 500mg. The next day he had 4 seizures, I looked at both label's & the 1000mg does not show CBD like the 500mg bottle. I got all my empty bottles of the 500mg & got a dropper almost full, I gave that to him when he ate that night & no seizures until the next day he had a couple but not really bad ones. So I guess the 1000mg doesn't have any CBD & it's not exactly like the 500mg. You can see in the pictures of the labels they aren't the same.
