These are great. Keep things from sliding around, such as cell phones flat on the nav table on our boat so they don't slide all over. Use them at the wheel to hold glasses cleaning microcloths in little vinyl envelopes for cleaning radar screen. They stick verrrrrry well to the fiberglass/gelcoat. Will NOT stick to a silicone cell phone case, however. Just rinse when they get linty or don't stick very well any more.

A Product That Does What It Says!

Does what it says and received on time. Placed it on my dash and my phone does not budge. When I remove my phone from the mount it just lifts off like nothing is holding it in place. Lifted up the mount from my dash after a couple weeks to see if there was anything left behind and it was like nothing was there. Buying two more for my wife and son.

Sticky as advertised. Problem is part of the surface peeled off after a couple weeks use and it began to leave sticky residue on my phone which ruined the experience. Had to toss it.

Doesn't hold my phone in my car unless I have it on the back of the seat. It wont's stick on my dash and hold phone because there is a slight curve on the dash. The surface you use it on has to be totally

flat!

Neat Idea, But Not Up to Expectations

I bought this to support either an iPhone or a Motorola, both of which it did with ease. Unfortunately, it stuck to the phones a little too well - whenever you try to pick up the phone, the entire thing peels off the dash. Not a deal breaker, but kind of a pain. Within a week, it got dusty and lost its stickiness. It would probably work again if I washed it, but I am lazy. Back to the cup holders for these cell phones!

Out of the box this thing is super sticky, there is no residue, it is just super sticky. I bought this as a removable tablet mount. So I can quickly mount and unmount my Nexus 7 to my refrigerator, cabinets, walls, for quick and easy eye level access. Great for watching movies, listening to music while you are cooking and using your tablet for recipes. So far that tablet has not moved a millimeter. I am not worried at all that it may fall off. It is really on there. I am not using a case, but I would not think a case would cause too much of an issue, unless you had a case with alot of deep ridges that may decrease its surface area.

Once you put the Grippy mount on a surface, it is stuck there till you take it off. I have not tried it in my car, but I assume that if you place this thing on any smooth surface, it will stick. Cant speak about any other types of surfaces. But smooth, slightly textured surfaces seem to work well.

It is a bit expensive for what it is, but competition is scarce, and the product does what it says it will do, so it is well worth the cost in my book.

Update 3/14/14:

Stuck the mat to a normal painted wall, attached my Nexus 7, it seemed to be holding just fine. It managed to fall of in the middle of the night. Still stuck to the tablet, just not the wall. So something about the wall made it not stick that well. I put it back on a smooth tile surface and it has been there for over a week now and still going strong. So some surfaces are certainly better than others as far as ability to stick is concerned. But I am still happy with the purchase.

UPDATE 1/14/17

After using for a while, I found that this is a dirt/dust magnet, and the problem is it loses in tackiness and effectiveness. Eventhough you can wipe them off eith wet towel, it is a hassle. Thus, I have stop using it.
