Great Workout AND Family Fun

First of all, it arrived right on time and I am glad it did because this game is more than a workout! It is sooo much fun! My husband, my kids (boys and girl ages 8-11) and I all enjoyed the variety of songs, cultures, and tempos! We had a blast taking turns and even my very manly man husband and boyly boys got into the dances! There are background dancers that provide excellent variety and different variations to the dances making it a great experience for anyone! So glad this game came into my life!! 😁😁

Fun game

I've enjoyed this game making it fun to work out at home. Before buying this I read a lot of negative reviews about navigating through the game, and I find it to be partly true since you cannot use a controller. However, navigation through the Kinect has worked really well for me (I never use voice commands). The game itself has been fun. There's a good variety of songs, but I wish there were some more top hits. My biggest "�problem' with the game has been that it easily gives a good score eg. I'd play it and know that I'm not doing that well and then still get a score in the 80's or 90's - thereby taking away the motivation to do better.

It's really annoying having to use your hand to control the game. The Kinect doesn't always read your hand and if there's multiple players it gets confused, plus it takes forever for it to recognize who's playing even after being signed in making it time consuming and me wanting to give up playing. You should be able to control this game with the controller so that you can just get to dancing instead of having to wave your hand all over waiting for the Kinect to see you. It also takes a long time for it to completely be downloaded so before you start getting ready to play, give it a couple hours for everything to download. When you only have half an hour and want to get some cardio in, this is definitely not it...

I consider the inability to use the controller to select from the menu a huge design flaw. The cursor can be hard to use, and there have been times when it refuses to show up at all, resulting in me waving my arms around frantically like a loon. It's very frustrating.

Got this for the wife, she's a very casual gamer, I'm more of a serious gamer who doesn't play Kinect games....until now. She loves it and the 5 stars is her opinion. I can't argue because I actually got into it and it's something we can challenge each other in. Her gamer score is around 1,000 and mine is over 1,000,000 so this is something we can play together. It's a nice workout and the song variety is pretty good, rhythms and dance routines are varied. Only gripe for me is some of the menu controls, but nothing that ruins the experience.

I love Zumba classes at the gym but haven't been able to catch a class around my work schedule. I finally thought to buy this and while there are a great deal of routines to choose from, I scanned through most and was not particularly moved by the selection. I'll give it more time. I gave 4 starts for the vast selections of songs, varying in difficulty and musical genre.

I've done a couple Zumba classes before, but this is awsome. I love that I can practice all the moves and can memorize different songs.I read a lot of reviews that were negative towards the fact you can't use the controller and you have to use your hand motions. I don't find that to be an issue, especially since you can also use voice control. I find it very easy to navigate and select the songs I want to do.

Had to start to exercise for health reasons. I love to dance so I thought I'd pull my sons old Xbox one out and use it! So far I've learned some ballet moves and am almost a Latin dancing pro!! Oh, and I've lost almost 10 pounds in about 8 weeks!!

Wife loves it so that's all that matters. Only complaint is that you can only control the game with KINECT, unlike other games you have the options of navigating through all the menus and options using your controller. But fun game nevertheless.

The steps are difficult to follow so people like me trend to stop playing. They could show the steps separately and slowly so we could learn and then do them during the game.
