this thing is amazing

I am a hammock camper and really hate traditional sleeping bags because they always end up bunched up on one side or the other. This thing is perfect! It is great for hammock camping and all other kinds of camping. Rated to 35 degrees it's plenty warm for me. It will probably keep me warm at lower temperatures as well with some layering, and your friends will think you are awesome! Extremely comfortable. Slits so your hands can get a firm grip on that PBR. Highly recommended for camping festivals as well. Sizing chart is pretty much accurate. I am 5'9 and got a large. A little baggy but I like the extra room.

Cheers!

I think that this is a really cool sleeping bag and I love to wear it as much as show it off. I'm 5'5" and 120lbs. and bought a large; I probably should have bought a medium. The large is a tad too roomy and it's hard to walk around in. Anyway I've tested it out a few times while camping. It's fairly warm and when it gets too hot it has nice vents in the legs that can be opened. I found myself sometimes taking my arms out of the sleeves to sleep at night and unzipping the front just due to how warm it can get. My main complaint though is that I find myself tossing and turning in it because my legs tend to fall asleep easily in this. Maybe from the added weight? I've learned that when sleeping in this not to cross my legs or lay one on top of the other which for me is usually comfortable but this has been the only way so far to keep my legs from falling asleep in the sleeping bag.

End the thermostat war!
by gnosgirl (5 out of 5 stars)

There has been a constant thermostat war in my house for years. It all ended with this spectacular item. It is so warm and comfortable and easy to get around the house in. When I first tried it on, I immediately fell asleep on the couch because it is that warm and cozy. "They" say you can save 10% off your heating bill for lowering your thermostat 3-4 degrees. Do the math, this will pay for itself in no time. I like the vents and have found the need to use them when it gets too warm and they work beautifully. The ability to flip the mitten part over your hand is excellent for answering the phone or eating or changing channels. The velcro straps at the waist and the ankles ensure it doesn't slouch and give a more comfortable fit. It has the little stuff sack so I brought it to the office when we were without heat for 2 consecutive days. I think the zip off boots feature on the 5G is nice and offers more options for outdoor use like football games etc. where I would be concerned about it getting messed up. I have not had an opportunity to wear mine outdoors (it is rated for outdoor use) but for indoor use this 4G rocks!

Fits me great
by No name at all (5 out of 5 stars)
October 7, 2015

I got mine today and tried it on long enough to see how it fit. I am 5'5" tall and about 115 pounds. I went with the medium because I couldn't find anything about sizes. The medium is just long enough for me to wear and a little big around the waist but I wasn't expecting a tight fit. It is 75 degrees in the house right now so I am not going to use it tonight but on the cold winter nights.

The feet have NO traction on them. I have linoleum floors and tried to walk but didn't go to far. I shuffled across the room. They might work better on a camping trip but please be careful with the first few steps.

Amazing! Zipper can get stuck though...
by David (4 out of 5 stars)

Keeps me very warm, and is great for sitting around by a campfire in complete comfort. Also works great for camping/festivals out in the desert, where it can get pretty cold at night. My only complaint is the zipper can get stuck pretty easily. I had to buy a second one after I ruined my first one by getting the zipper stuck in two separate spots, then ripping the suit a bit trying to get it fixed. Probably my own fault, but if you're a short-tempered idiot like me, don't say I didn't warn you!

Normally I don't leave a bad review but hopefully this helps customers looking at this product in the future. Let me start by saying I thought the Selk'bag is a great idea and I was sorry I had to return it. It looked well crafted. There was some confusion on the sizing charts when I purchased it. I bought large because I was within what the charts called for. It fit like more like a jogging suit then a sleeping bag. If buying this product I would tend to buy larger rather then smaller. I'm my case XL wasn't available.

Nap time has never been better!

if you are like me and are able to take a nap every day for 20 min this suit is a god sent, must have item! Comfy is the word I use to describe this suit. I am 5' 8" and 200 lbs with a 30 " inseam and a 38" waist. The legs are a bit long but everything else is great! I got the xl cause I wasn't sure. Have used it on camping trips and it's different that using a sleeping bag but in a good way.

Perfect for my hammock sleeping
by Vonnie M. Gallegos (5 out of 5 stars)

I love these jammies. I sleep in a hammock and in the winter, it is difficult to stay warm without tangling with a blanket to keep the body heat from escaping through the bottom side of the hammock. These pajamas make it perfect. I slip into these jammies and sleep like a baby. There is no escaping body heat anymore.

Crazy huge. Daughter can barely walk in it. Sure, it'd keep her warm outside but she can't even make it outside!

This is the most awesome thing I ever bought on amazon
by C. Milkowski (5 out of 5 stars)

This bag is the best thing I bought in a long time. I wear it to sleep every night now. I bought it to wear around the house in winter to keep the heat down. This bag is warm and very comfortable. I love this bag. I would have payed twice what I payed for it.
