Ignore the reviews that state these do not taste like wasabi because THEY DO! Even if you love wasabi, you will find these putrid! Buy them for a gag-gift only because you just may hurl! Luckily, they fit the bill for my purpose, because that's why I got them. Tasted so much like wasabi that my friend, who hates wasabi, and to rush to the garbage can to stop the tiny piece he bit off out.

Bought these to pull some pranks on some friends.

although considered evil, these candy canes aren't really that bad.

i wish the flavor was stronger.

At first glance, i got an evil grin and a good laugh thinking of all the wonderful possibilities.

however, while thoughts may be evil, here are some things to consider.

the candy canes are artificially flavored. the mintiness flavor kinda over powers the wasabi flavor, but not completely.

the flavor balance is how its supposed to be. at first taste, it tastes minty and completely delicious, but slowly, the wasabi flavor creeps in, and stings. its not like that strong as i would hoped for. but the after flavor stuck, so it turned out alright.

if your wanting to prank some friends, these candy canes could work. it all depends how sensitive they are to flavors.

ratings sticks at 4/5 because you only get 6 for $10. not the price i'd originally pay.

but overall, it was an Alright buy.

I eat wasabi daily. I drink it. I breathe it. And now, I suck on it, too. These candy canes are great on the inside, okay on the outside. Giving them as a surprise would have worked better if they made the outer layers of the candy cane as spicy as they did on the inside. They definitely do taste like wasabi and leaves the familiar sting of actual wasabi if you eat the entire candy cane very quickly.

These are great I bought them to prank my 14 year old niece. Apparently they taste like a spearmint candy cane and the wasabi flavor is hidden underneath. She screeches "ouch it bit me", lol Prank worked flawlessly. She liked the flavor too.

Gave these in my son's Christmas stocking, as he loves hot things. He reports they are more sweet than hot, but he liked them as a change from regular peppermint candy canes. Wouldn't buy them again.

I was hoping the candy canes would have more of a wasabi flavor and less of a sweet flavor, but they are fun to eat. The heat comes toward the end and if consumed quickly, you will get the nasal-clearing feeling you may desire.

Was INCREDIBLY excited excited about this product, best christmas prank EVER. The children weren't very happy, but many of them found enjoyment about it after their mouths stopped burning from good ol' wasabi! Impressed many wasabi fans with it, many had no idea these candy canes existed! Very greatful, THANK YOU MEAT MANIAC :)

I bought these to put on the Christmas tree with no intentions of actually eating them myself, but rather giving them to friends who were expecting something minty as a joke. Though they are spicy, they actually tasted pretty good. It's definitely enough to surprise you if you're not expecting it, but it's not going to burn your mouth or bring tears to your eyes.
