Quick and easy, and really are eye catching

Surprisingly the batteries last a long time. When you don't ride they turn off and turn back on when you start moving your bike. I take them off the bike during the day, and snap them on at night. They take about 10 minutes to install. Quick and easy, and really are eye catching. There are cheaper versions, but these are the best. They come with a USB cable and software disc.

Poor Translations

This product was created in China. Your installation options are Chinese or English. The translation for the software is poor and generally difficult to use even if it was translated well. It claims to only work in the dark. I see it has the light sensor on the device, but mine blinks in the daytime and nighttime. Although it fits on my road bike wheel, it appears to have been designed for a much smaller wheel. It is bulky and ugly in the daytime. I found another slimmer product with 48 leds I might recommend instead, but it also was made in China. Maybe it is better.

dont put on rear if disconnected it will take out derailleur.

While programmable and easy enough to figure out, it will only work if viewed from the right side. Since (in the US) you're almost always on the far right side of the road and people pass on the left or are driving in the opposite direction on the far left, they're just going to be confused by backward lettering if you're using it for text. I suppose it would work fine for images/icons (like a heart, smiley face or skull) but if you're looking to put words out there for advertising or whatever then it's pretty much useless. The software does have a very poorly explained clockwise/counter clockwise setting, which should allow your graphic to be viewed correctly from one side or the other, but changing that setting actually does nothing. It is always only correctly displayed from the right side (regardless of which setting you program the display on or if you flip the light over to face the other way).

have not tried programming it yet.

one downside-no on/off switch. sometimes I remove the battery cap and replace it backwards. and let it go when I ride during eth day
