The Ministry of Silly Walksby #WearetheSmiths (5 out of 5 stars)

My wife surprised me with this watch as a gift. It is version of Monty Python's flying circus Ministry of Silly Walks. If you have not seen this skit I highly suggest you so yourself a favor and watch it, watch it right now if possible.
The watch is exactly as you would expect it to be with the knob on the right for your time settings. It has the quartz movement we have all come to enjoy in watch works. The leather band was a little stiffer than expected, but that relaxed with wear.
My personal favor time is 3:45 on this watch. I would definitely recommend this product and highly recommend you watch Monty Python's Flying Circus.
It's clever and it's cute, but...

Well, I like it, but wow is this a cheap watch. If it had a standard face, it would sell for about 4 bucks. Plastic dial, pot-aluminum body, and a cheap leather(?) band. The band says "genuine leather," but I kinda doubt it. If you're doing the vegan thing, this might not work for you.
Okay, so the John Cleese gag is funny, if you can get your friends to notice it. Truth be told, though, this watch is difficult to read. It's strictly a novelty item, and won't hold up to regular use. I do like the joke on the watch back, though -- "For best results, use other side."
and this is his favorite gag of them all

My husband took this out of his stocking for Christmas and had a veritable freakout. (He loves this show, and this is his favorite gag of them all.) It takes awhile to get used to telling the time, but he was showing it off to all his friends and coworkers, and basically won't take it off. A lot of the review say that the strap is cheap, but we think it is pretty sturdy. The warranty instructions that come with the watch are written in Monty Pythonese and are hilarious to read. Overall, this is a winner!!
Well, basically...

I do not require much from life, but what I require must make sense. This makes more sense than most things I have encountered in life.

O-M-G! I love this watch, it's hours of fun - 24 of them to be precise. I haven't worn a watch for 15+ years, in an effort to be more at peace with the relativity of such a ridiculous measure as time. I didn't succeed, of course - with this watch, though, I can know the time and see the personification of its ridiculousness every time I check my wrist. What could be better?!
I love this watch

I love this watch. When I decided I needed a new watch I saw this one first and moved on because I didn't want to spend that much money. The first watch I ordered didn't fit around my apparently unladylike wrist. The second watch fell apart within the week. This watch not only fits my non-dainty wrist, but so far it has not fallen apart and is still running smoothly. It gives me a smile every time I look at it, especially at 3:15 when he looks like he's just reclining comfortably.
So long story short: This watch is worth the money.
Now for something completely different.

I'm surprised everyone doesn't own one! This watch is pretty large and thick which I like. It keeps me entertained all day. Some things never get old.

I bought this for myself for my birthday, and I have to say it's awesome. While the watch does have a "very" cheap band that comes with it, switching the band out for a higher quality one is something I would recommend doing. As far as the comments about it not being water resistant I have to ask, why would you keep any watch on when doing something when you know your watch will be submerged in water. If you swap out the band, and treat it right you won't have any issues with this watch.

This watch is a hoot! I keep looking at it just to see what fix John Cleese is in at the moment or minute. I bought one for my sister-in-law who had some serious surgery. It lifted her spirits.

This is one of the coolest watches I have ever owned! As a huge Monty Python fan, I love wearing this and seeing friends reactions! Watch is high quality material and is definitely worth $40.
