This lamp is awesome. It's not 100% perfect, but for the price, you can't beat it. I contacted the seller before I ordered it to ensure I received the American style plug. Plug arrived with the US style, and the packaging was great. There was a wooden crate over top of the box which ensured it did not get crushed. My only issues are that the shade doesn't sit flush with the base and moved around a bit, which I'll fix by dremeling the base and adhering it. The other issue I have is that the shade is kind of see through when the light is on. I'll either end up painting it, or putting some sort of wallpaper around it. Compared to units that cost 5x as much, this thing is a steal, and I'll be buying the silver one for sure.

It was damaged and had an international plug, which I was not aware of.
