while adorable, the steam does not come out like pictured, it slops out around the edge and splatters on the stove. It is too flimsy to keep the pressure from pushing the sides up and causing this to happen.

This didn't fit my larger pans but was fine on the smaller ones. It IS a good idea to use something (i used tongs) to lift it off when done to avoid burns from hot steam! I'm happy with the product.

I love this lid!!!! I broke the original lid to me steamer pot I looked for months for a replacement that fit and didn't cost as much as replacing the whole pot. This lid works so effectively, cleans easily and stays cool enough you can remove and set in on the counter without worry! Great buy

It's decorative. Be careful not to grab the steam boat since the steam comes out that part it'll burn your fingers if you're not careful.
